Naruto: Reborn as an Uzumaki

Chapter 16 Finals Part 2

Eve Pov:

After some people trying to kill my cute little Angel with their eyes the finals continued.

And it was Naruto's turn. He would be fighting Temari. And it seems that she wouldn't back out.

The third then motioned to stop before the match would be started. "Ahem. This match will be between Temari of the sand daughter of the fourth Kazekage and Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze the heir and only son of Kushina Uzumaki the red death and Minato Namikaze the yellow flash and our forth Hokage."

Naruto stopped in his tracks shocked about the news. He knew that his father must have been someone important but not the forth. And then it made sense, his teacher was also the forth's teacher. Kakashi was his fathers student and the reason why he could seal the nine tails inside him without even batting an eye. Well the man was a good shinobi but a horrible father that is for sure.

When both stood opposite each other Temari swung her fan and tried to fling him away but he switched with a log to the side and went through his own handseals. Both had to prove to be the stronger one. The stronger child of their respective kage.

"Wind style: Drilling air bullets." He shouted and shot out eight bullets of air. None of them hit but Temari had to evade them instead of blocking the attack. "Wind style: Wrath of the windgod." Naruto shouted and punched the air in front of him with both hands and a strong shockwave travelled towards Temari.

Some seemed confused since this was one of Danzo's own creations and a rather powerful technique. Temari got nicked in the shoulder and was sent spinning. But the wall behind her wasn't so lucky. An obvious dent was seen on the wall in the shape of two fists just about twenty times as large.

Temari gulped but continued. She swung her fan again but was in obvious pain. Due to this Naruto could easily his attacker. "Wind release: Divine winds." And four tornados formed and were directed towards Temari.

"I give up." She shouted just before the tornados could rip her apart. The tornados disappeared and left a sweating, hurt and tired Temari on the ground.

"Winner Uzumaki Naruto. The next match is between Shikamaru Nara and Karin Uzumaki. Hell what is going on with all those Uzumaki. Now I understand what all those other villages feared." Genma said out loud.

Karin appeared in a water style bodyflicker next to him. "You have seen nothing. I mean our speciality is kenjutsu and fuinjutsu. What of our fuinjutsu did you see? And Tayuya is the worst of us when it comes to kenjutsu." She said nonchalantly as if she hadn't just said that all three of them were holding back a great deal.

Shikamaru didn't react but got ready for the signal. And when he got the signal he started. Immediately he send out his shadow which connected surprisingly since Karin jumped towards him. "Give up you are caught in my shadow technique. You can't move." He then did as if he took out a kunai from his pouch but then realised something.

"So you realised it. My kunai are all sealed away. What will you do now?" Karin taunted.

"You can still not move." He said but when Shikamaru saw her smile he knew that something was up.

"I don't need to." And just after her statement several docent yellow-golden chains erupted from her back and strung Shikamaru up while also cancelling his technique. "See I just had to let you catch me and then use your weakness, the unwillingness to move more then you think is necessary against you. Now please give up. Your chakra is supressed and my chains hurt a lot. I can promise you that."

"Proctor I give up. I can't win."

"Winner Karin Uzumaki. Now there are the semi finals. The first match is Sasuke Uchiha vs Tayuya Uzumaki."

I leaned over to Tayuya and whispered into her ear. "Make him use the Chidori. I want that jutsu." She nodded and left for the battle.

"Just give up. I am unbeatable." Sasuke exclaimed and Tayuya had to supress a chuckle.

"Just like you are beating Naruto in every spar or how you beat the snake pedophil that gave you that hiki(Sorry I have no idea how that is written.)?"

This was already enough for him to get angry. He started of with a taijutsu battle which Tayuya had no real problem in following due to her training with resistance seals. But Sasuke got more and more angry.

"What surprised that you can't copy my movements?" She whispered into his ear, before hitting him straight into the jaw.

"H-how." Then it clicked genjutsu. He release the genjutsu but immediately after a new one was placed on him. "Urrggghhhh get out here and fight like a shinobi. Sasuke demanded.

"We ninja fight in the dark and life in the dark. Only a few of us stay in the light and live the lives of heroes. We are assassins, guards and everything in between for hire." She said and appeared in her real outfit with the genjutsu gone.

In the stands next to us several ninja drew back in shock while Sakura looked at us in fear. Yes she remembers. Kurenai then looked at us. "You are the red devils. But why come here?"

"It is quite easy to understand. First we wanted to see Naruto and make sure the Hokage would make sure Naruto is well trained and gets what he rightfully deserves. And secondly this are the chunin exams. I am younger then most participants, Karin is a year older and Tayuya a year and a half older then me. If we not only beat the upcoming genin from Rain and Sound but also from the five strongest villages namely Konoha and Suna we would be getting more work and would gain more money. All in all it is for publicity."

Back on the arena floor it was one sided. Tayuya used her superior speed to fool Sasuke and used her illusionary strikes to beat the living sh*t out of him. She always casts a small genjutsu while hitting her opponent. Normally that wouldn't work that good on Sasuke because of the saringan. But since the genjutsu were sound based and he is getting angrier and angrier he does not recognise it.

He then jumped backwards on the wall and began to make handseals. 'Here we go.'

I looked at the handseals and how the chakra is formed until released. Sasuke's fist began to emit lighting and then charged towards Tayuya. I smirked having successfully copied the Chidori. Sasuke then stabbed Tayuya. "Chidori." Just to see her reverting into water.

"Bringer of darkness." She shouted and Sasuke's light could swear that the light went out. "You see Uchiha. This jutsu is a recreation of the second Hokage's bringer of darkness genjutsu. An A-rank technique that was created to deal with the Uchiha. Activate." She then activated the chakra draining seals around Sasuke who immediately lost consciousness due to the severe chakra drain. "Well that was anticlimactic."

"Winner Tayuya Uzumaki. Tayuya Uzumaki will continue to the finals. A three way battle. The next fight will be between Gaara of the sand and Eve Uzumaki."
