Chapter 20 Cousins meet and secrets are revealed

Eve Pov:

It has been a week since the finals were stopped and we have helped not only defeat the danger that was a rampaging one tails but also were able to go back into the village and drive of the sound and sand ninja. But after the tanuki vanished most sand ninja retreated either way. So all in all it was rather easy.

The only bad thing that happened was that the Hokage died but that was to be expected and of course the slippery Orochimaru survived. The only thing that surprised me was that he still had his sound four even tough if my memory wasn't failing me Tayuya should have been one of them so there should be only three. But maybe they just took the next best?!

Anyhow. Right now I am relaxing since we will be going to Kiri in three weeks to help them in their rebellion against the bloodline murderers. Zabuza made it clear that he would only train us, even if we saved his and Haku's life, if we would help them with the rebellion and half of Gato's money was not enough for him.

When I tried to close my eyes for the umpteenth time but again I could feel someone close by. When I looked closer I groaned. There was a gigantic chakra signature which was not Naruto and a dark chakra signature. They were making their way directly towards me. So one of them is a senser, I always thought so.

I sat up and waited. When they entered the clearing I began. "What brings the monster of the mist, the tailless Biju as well as the god of genjutsu, Itachi of the sharingan to me?"

"So you know who we are." Itachi's monotone voice asked.

"Of course. Who else has so much chakra or such dark chakra except maybe Sasuke. So how can I help the two of you?"

"What is missy don't want to look at us?" Kisame said mockingly.

"Well you are not my type and Itachi's eyes are not the ones I want to look into. After all I don't intend to be tortured for three days."

"You know about my abilities?" He asked surprised.

"I know much more then you think about you. Ah, ah, ah and before you try anything funny I just want to tell you that if anything happens to me then my summons will spread all information I have about you and your clansmen." I warned him. "Plus I love to gather information and make my own conclusions."

"Kisame leave. This has become personal." Itachi said in anger. Surprising even the normally goofy swordwielder. He didn't say anything and just left. Itachi waited for some time until turning towards me.

"So you are the senser of the two of you."

"Yes. Now tell me everything you know." He commanded.

"Hahaha." I laughed and waled straight through him. This seemed to gave him complete creeps and looked at me in shock. "So my distant cousin let us talk. Or let me explain what I know and what I strongly suspect.

Danzo Shimura was killed a few weeks ago due to experimenting with the DNA of Hashirama Senju and having several sharingan implanted in the arm made out of said DNA. But how did he get to those sharingan? Well let me tell you.

At the night of the nine tails attack there was chaos since the beast appeared in the middle of the village out of nowhere. But what could have made that happen? Well there are four things that can bring the nine tails there in a subdued manner. First sealing which is unlikely that someone would be able to seal something away that was only minutes before sealed in a seal mistress. Number two the wood style and the only wood style user is not strong enough, the chakra chains, which is illogical since Kushina a user of those chains was holding the nine tails. No there is only one last possibility. An Uchiha controlled the nine tails with his sharingan and used the summoning jutsu on him.

But the strange thing was that Danzo ordered the Uchiha to not intervene, even tough they could have overwritten the command that was given to the nine tails, just like he had something planned. After the attack the container Naruto Uzumaki was hated but he was not alone the Uchiha clan was also not trusted and isolated. But unlike Naruto the Uchiha clan could fight back.

So they wanted to overthrow the Hokage. And as consequence they were assassinated on their orders by the Hokage, after all how would Danzo get his hands on a sharingan, let alone ten of them. He knew of it and played the waiting game. He had it planned ever since the nine tails attack.

And now here you are with your group of S-rank missing ninja trying to cpture the tailed beasts. But wait why would you help them? Are you perhaps a double agent? Well you just sent your partner away so it is likely.

Then there is just one thing I don't understand. Why capture them now? I mean the Uchiha who controlled the nine tails should have just captured the nine tail from the start, wait unless you are not here to capture Naruto but to gage his strength since the tailed beasts must be sealed in a certain order to create the ten tails."

"You know about that?" He said but it was not much of a question.

"Of course. The tablet made it obvious. But it is a lie." He looked honestly floored at that. "Look why would the sage of six paths write about all of that? He didn't want the world enslaved. He just wanted it to prosper so why leave notes to do the opposite. Well let me tell you. For one the Uchiha, Senju and Uzumaki clan all originate from the sage of six paths. All of our powers don't come from him but from his mother the rabbit goddess.

She fused with the world tree to which she had previously sacrificed thousands of humans to gain another chakra fruit. She then turned into the ten tails. The ten tails had a red eye with nine tomoe, was made out of wood and lastly was able to supress chakra like my chains. The sage and his brother defeated their mother and the sage absorbed the ten tails. And he passed those abilities down to his ancestors. The sharingan to his older son and the rest to his younger son."

"So what we are doing is reviving this goddess? But who would want that?" He asked sceptically.

"Who I don't know but he, she or it must be ancient. And I gained all of those information through folklore but it makes a lot of sense. The chakra of the tailed beasts being so massive and so on. Now what are you going to do?"

"Nothing. I will carry on as I have been. But one question is still on my mind. I thought I killed every Uchiha, so how did you survive?" Itachi remarked.

"Well I was never a part of the Uchiha clan. You know as much as he is crazy Orochimaru is also a genius."

Itachi let the information sit in, nodded and left as if I hadn't just told him the world was going to end.
