FLASHBACK
Y/n pov
Meeting in the courtyard, before heading to class, had become a daily thing. We even started to open up to each other about more intimate things. While waiting for Jungkook, I kept recalling a conversation we had a few days back.
"How long have you two been together?" He asked, without looking directly at me.
"I guess, in a way, we've always been together. But, officially, since high school." I mentally started doing some math.
"That's a long time. How do you know he's the one, though?" I turned around and furrowed my brows at him. He didn't turn away his gaze.
"What do you mean?!" I huffed at him, annoyed at what I deemed as a stupid question.
"How do you know he's the one when he's the only one you have been with?!" His question bothered me because Jungkook, with his presence, was the living proof of the fact that my unwavering love for Namjoon had just started to fall apart, one piece at a time. I turned the question to him, unassure if it was a good idea to answer his allegations.
"And what about you? I mean, I know you, currently, don't have a girlfriend but..." I couldn't make myself to finish the phrase because he interrupted me halfway.
"You're weirdly curious for someone who's not interested, Miss I-already-have-a-boyfriend." He arched an eyebrow at me.
"Oh, come on, it's just healthy curiosity. I told you about mine." I hit his shoulder slightly.
"I had a girlfriend back in the States, but...it didn't end well." He, mentally, brushed off some unwelcome thoughts.
"Didn't end well, how?" I asked, all ears now.
"Let's say that she was in love and I was not. And, that's all I'm gonna say about the argument." He went awfully quiet.
"And, what about here. Has anyone caught your interest?" I realized it was a stupid question as soon as it left my mouth.
"It has. And, she already knows about it." He turned around to look at me.
"The one you're talking about is already taken. You better look elsewhere, Mister I-got-my-mind-set-on-you." I should have known better than to just trigger his competitivity.
"Y/n, I'm not one to step back and watch. I like challenges, and I don't like to lose." He took it very personally, I guess. The look on his face changed.
"I'm not a challenge, Jeon. I'm a person with feelings. So is Namjoon." I answered, in a serious tone.
"I never thought you were." He lowered his head a bit to look me in the eye and make sure I got the message before adding.
"Is it so bad that I know what I want?! And, I know she's not indifferent towards me, either. " I preferred not to answer.
I saw him coming from miles away, and immediately, my lips curved into a smile. I had come to terms with the fact that I couldn't resist his bunny smile, even if I tried. We were walking to class when I heard one of the female students greet him.
"Hi, Jungkook." She was practically melting at his feet.
"Hi, Jungkook." I mimicked her voice without even realizing it.
"Is someone being jealous?!" He was so amused by my reaction.
"Tsss... You wish. I mean, it's so easy it's not even funny. Where's the challenge in that?!" I huffed at him. He raised an eyebrow at me.
"That's what I was talking about the other day, but you got all high and mighty, Miss I-know-better-than-everyone." He placed his index finger on my forehead and pushed me, just a bit, playfully. The classroom door closed, and for the time being, we considered the argument closed.
As usual, Namjoon was waiting for me outside the classroom. Jungkook greeted us coldly and headed the other way. Even though Namjoon's jealousy had subsided to a manageable level, he still couldn't digest the constant presence of Jungkook around me.
"You're spending an awful amount of time with him." He inquired, in a subdued tone, knowing better than to piss me off.
"Well, we do have a lot of courses in common. Basically, it's the same schedule. It's impossible to avoid each other." I stated, as a matter of factly.
"Uh-huh, sure, sure." He said through his teeth.
"Can't we just stop talking about him and focus on us, please." I huffed, having enough of going over the same argument whenever Jungkook was anywhere near university grounds.
"I'm sorry, babe. I know that's not much time left before my departure, and the last thing I want is for us to fight." He said while taking my hand in his.
"That's more like it." I smiled.
"Speaking of which, can you stay over tonight. I mean, tomorrow being the weekend and all." He asked, with hope in his eyes, and I nodded.
"Hmmm...can't wait to have you all to myself, tonight. I miss having you in my bed." He cupped the back of my head with his hand and started caressing it with his thumb.
"Can I join in?" A voice behind us exclaimed.
"Yah! What a perv. How long have you been eavesdropping?!" Jimin couldn't stop laughing.
"Long enough to find it interesting." He winked at me, and I slapped his arm.
"Will you two be joining us, by the way?! Tae invited Jungkook and I at the Kim mansion tonight." At the umpteenth mention of Jungkook, Namjoon rolled his eyes, which didn't go unnoticed by Jimin. Then, not being able to suppress his sarcasm, added.
"He's more omnipresent than the Holy Spirit." I heard him say. All I kept thinking was the fact that just the idea of being in the same house as Jungkook while Namjoon and I were doing it bothered me a lot. Seeing that I was being absent at the moment, Namjoon turned then to me.
"Everything okay?" He sounded a bit concerned.
"Yeah, sure, why wouldn't it be." I smiled at him, not wanting to ruin the moment.
"Let's see, Jiminie. We wanted to spend a little time alone since Joonie was going away. I hope you don't mind." I pouted at his smiley face.
"Well, of course, I understand." He answered sincerely, patting my arm.
"Anyway, see you guys tonight." He greeted us and then left.
It was already dark, and we were in Namjoon's room cuddling and talking. Loud laughters were also being heard from downstairs when suddenly, everything went black. Namjoon went to check out what happened. At that moment, we heard footsteps on our floor. It was Taehyung.
"Everything okay, you guys? It's a general blackout. Emergency lights are not working, either. Do you have any idea where I could find some candles, Joonie?" Only voices being heard and eyes slowly adjusting to dark.
"Let me go take a look in the kitchen. I think I remember seeing them somewhere in one of the drawers." Namjoon replied.
"Y/n, you stay here. Don't walk around, or you might step somewhere and get hurt." He gave me a peck on the cheek before heading downstairs.
"Do you want me to stay with you?" Taehyung asked me. I replied no, and he also headed downstairs following after Namjoon.
I turned around to head back to the room when, all of a sudden, I felt a hand covering my mouth and another around my waist, keeping me in place. I was about to scream when I heard a whisper behind my ear.
"Sshhh... it's me." I untangled myself from him and smacked his arm. He chuckled softly.
"Are you crazy?! You almost gave me a heart attack. What are you doing here?" I was trying to keep my voice as low as I could.
"I wanted to see you." He replied softly. "No pun intended, given the circumstances." He was laughing in a low register.
"You sure have the guts, with everyone in the house." I nudged his side.
"I'm glad the lights went out. It interrupted whatever the two of you were doing." He sounded a bit sour.
"Sorry to kill your buzz, but we could always do it later on." I teased him.
"No, I don't think you will. Not after this."
Then, out of nowhere, he crashed my lips hard. At first, I was trying to resist him, but then, my body gave in. He smiled into my lips. Even if I couldn't see it, I could feel it. I ran my hands all over his upper body, feeling his well toned muscles. He, on the other side, grabbed my hair in one hand and with the other holding my neck still, while his tongue was asking for access. I opened my mouth slightly, still unsure of what was going on, and he took the chance to slip in his tongue. His soft and warm lips were rapidly making me lose the sense of reality while his moist tongue explored my mouth thoroughly.
He made sin, taste like heaven.
In that moment, I jumped in at the deep end, not caring where I was or if anyone could see us. Our tongues started dancing around each other in a steady rythm. He sucked my bottom lip while I sucked his upper one. We heard rumors coming from down the stairs, but neither of us attempted to step back from each other. I had tried the forbbiden fruit and I couldn't get enough. The fact that we could get caught was making it even more exciting. After letting go of my hair, his hands started running around all over my body. He slid one hand inside my bra and cupped the flesh with his hand, squeezing it. Then, he started rolling his thumb over my nipple until I moaned into his mouth. Unexpectedly, lights came back on, and I pushed him away. He looked at me one last time before disappearing in one of the rooms. I was staying in the middle of Namjoon's room, shattered, with the door open when I heard Taehyung's concerned voice coming from down the stairs.
"Has anyone seen Jungkookie? Can't find him anywhere."p.s: enjoy the kiss as you play the music in the background ;)
