Present day
Y/n pov
"I better not know about what?!" Jungkook asked, perplexed, staring first at Taehyung then at me.
"Uhm... " I always had a hard time dropping bad news to people I cared about, but, this time, I was really struggling.
"Tae was referring to the fact that Y/n and I are still married. On paper, obviously." Namjoon was quick to speak, making us turn our heads to gasp at him. Jungkook remained unfased.
"You son of a ... " Taehyung was quicker than me to speak, but Namjoon interrupted him at the right time.
"I wouldn't finish that phrase if I were you." He replied to Taehyung, making him question his words.
I stared back at Jungkook. I thought he would be shocked by the news or even do something stupid, but after scratching his chin with the ring finger, he exclaimed.
"Ah, that! Yeah, we need to fix that issue as soon as possible." The rest of us was left open-mouthed. Except for Namjoon, obviously. They kept looking at each other, cutting us off from their silent conversation.
"Will someone please explain!" I exclaimed out loud, snapping them both out of their bubble. They looked at me as if I were the one behaving weirdly. Jungkook didn't say anything. He kneeled down as he kept staring at my figure. Jung Hee, in the meantime, was hiding behind Jungkook, having never heard me raise my voice like that.
"Baby, can you please go with Tae and Jane?! Eomma and appa need to talk about something very important." Jung Hee shook his head in denial, protesting as he threw his little arms around Jungkook's neck, anchoring himself even more to his father. Jungkook smiled tenderly at the gesture and kept patting his back.
"If you be a good boy, I'll buy you a big ice cream later. What do you say?" Jungkook whispered in his ear loud enough for me to hear. Jung Hee pouted and nodded unwillingly before taking Taehyung and Jane's hands. After we saw them put some distance between us, Jungkook addressed Namjoon.
"You tell her or I do?" Namjoon shook his head.
"I'm afraid you might omit some stuff, Jeon. Do you mind?!" He smirked at him, sarcastically.⚠️this part will contain adult

I was finishing signing the last documents and couldn't wait to go home when the office phone rang. I thought about not answering it at first, but, on second thought, I decided to take the call, as it was coming from the lobby.
"Mr. Kim, sorry to disturb you, Sir, but Mr. Jeon is headed upstairs. He told me you were expecting him, but...he didn't look well." It was the security guard who talked hurriedly.
"Ok, thanks. I'll handle it." I was getting up from my seat as I heard rumors coming from the hallway. Right then, there was a big bump on the door. Without knocking, he opened it wide and stayed on the doorstep for a few seconds, one hand holding the doorknob, the other inside his pocket. He kept staring back at me.
Even if the room was illuminated only by the dim light coming from my desk lamp, I could clearly witness the state he was in.
"Is there anything of mine here you forgot to take?!" I asked, annoyed by his whole existence. He took his hand out of the pocket and shook his finger without uttering a single word.
"I told you not to show up in here, ever! You're gonna ruin everything we worked for if you continue behaving so recklessly." I took a deep breath as I ran my fingers through my hair.
"I just needed to talk to someone who I know would understand my pain. My heart feels exhausted." He slumped on the couch like he had been carrying a dead weight for too long.
"I'm not your psychiatrist. Neither your friend. We just have a common enemy, that's it." I got closer, hovering over him.
"I need something to drink." He raised his hand as he moved his fingers in the air, cupping an imaginary glass.
"From the looks of it, I think you've drank enough for tonight." I said, as I kicked his leg, trying to make him stand up.
"Why do you sound like you care." He started to laugh, hysterically, as he tried to raise his body in an upright position.
"Yeah, you're right. Why should I stop you?! Suit yourself, then. Clean up all the minibar for what I care." He managed to drag his feet to the minibar, poured himself some whiskey, and drank it in one go. I took the chance to text Taehyung and tell him:
"Your buddy showed up in my office. Drunk as a skunk! And, something else, judging from his dilated pupils. Come get him before he gets on my nerves even more." I turned around to check in on what he was doing, and he was pouring himself another glass. I saw that he was trying to say something but struggling with words.
"Do you ever feel this... constant weight in your chest?! One that never goes away?! You can't eat, you can't sleep. It's always there, even when you wake up. And sometimes it gets so bad that you think it'll suffocate you because it becomes just a big lump on the throat. It's as if someone is constantly strangling you. Do you know how that feels?!" He said while finishing the other glass of whiskey.
"Yes, I know. Thanks to both of you." His presence and words reminded me about all the pain the two of them made me go through.
"I knew you would understand me. That's why I came here." He patted my shoulder.
"So, you took her away from me just to make her fall in love with you, make her miserable, and then leave her?!" He shook his head. He couldn't stand straight for the life of it. I wondered where he found the strength to still keep walking.
"Nooo... It's not at all what I wanted!" He started whining like a spoiled child.
"It was HER who chose me, and it was HER CHOICE to leave me." With his free hand, he wiped away some tears.
"Because you put her second. And you said you loved her!" I finally spurted out.
"You don't fucking understand! Why are you talking as if you didn't know how it went. You yourself told me I should break up with her in order to save her. Yoongi kept blackmailing me even after she left, you know that?! He was constantly on my neck because I wouldn't show up at that hellhouse his sister lives. I asked Y/n to wait for me so I could solve all of this. I just needed some fucking time." His eyes on me. If desperation would have been a person, it would have definitely been him.
"And how did you intend to solve all of that all alone, huh?!" He didn't answer.
"Exactly!" I poured myself a glass, too. I couldn't be lucid while having this conversation with him.
"I would've somehow. I don't know how. What the fuck do you want me to tell you?!" I huffed at him.
"That if you had never approached her, she would've still been here. She would have been happy. With me." He laughed at my words.
"You managed to get her to marry you and you still couldn't keep her by your side! You fucking idiot!" He looked at me and then added.
"Oh, really. I'm the idiot?! Not you who asked me to agree to this nonsense marriage, right?!" I raised my hands in the air, in disbelief.
"I regretted asking you to marry her. I don't know if Tae told you but, the day of my wedding, I went at her house. I was so desperate to see her. That day, her father told me she had left for good. I think that was the worst day of my life." He was looking at the glass in his hand, playing with the rim.
"Why didn't you stop that from happening, then?! Why did you ask me to accept her proposal?!" I asked, still dumbfounded by his confession.
"Because I was so desperate to make her stay... that I even accepted the fact that she was marrying you." He drank a bit as he layed his head on the couch rest, closing his eyes.
"She would have been mine, if it weren't for you. I wish she had never met you." He placed the glass on the table and stared at me, with a bit of a smug coming from the corners of his lips.
"She was mine since that first day on campus and, you know it!" He held his gaze up high, challenging me.
"I'm laying all my cards on the table, right now so, come on, do the same. It's just the two of us here." His body was there but the gaze in his eyes was absent. I never thought I'd see him like this.
"I saw the way she looked at you but I didn't want to admit it. Because the moment I had, I would have to face the fact that I had already lost her. I was in denial the whole time." He nodded as he tried to suck out the last drops of whiskey from the empty glass in his hand, holding it above his open mouth.
"Now, we both lost her. We're even!" I sat on the couch, next to him.
"She'll get to live her life, away from all of this. Away from all the drama and the intrigues. She'll find someone new, eventually, and leave the past behind." I drank the whole glass in one go, too. Fuck him, just the thought of her with someone else, depressed me.
"No, she won't find someone new. I made sure of it." He said, almost to himself, as he ran his hand through his hair.
"What do you mean by that?!" One would think that I should know better than to ask such questions but no. Curiosity had been killing me all of this time. I wanted to hear it from him.
"The first time we were...together. I promised her I would ruin her for every other man. And guess what?! I did." He chuckled, suppressing a guttural sound.
"She shall have no other Gods before me". I can't explain the rage those words ignited inside me. Hearing him talk like this, reminded me of the arrogant Jungkook I met a year ago.
"You were right about one thing, though." He said, raising his gaze so he could look at me.
"About what?!" I asked, opening the gates of hell even wider.
"She really got addicted to me, after all." He said, talking like a painter who had just finished his canvas and was staring proudly at his work. I couldn't understand if he was laughing or sobbing.
"What the hell did you do to her?!" I regretted the question when it had already left my lips.
"I think you're gonna need another glass for this one. Trust me!" Pointing his finger, he gestured at the almost empty bottle, standing over the minibar.
"After I told her everything I went through, about my addictions and everything, I thought she would run away. I thought she'd be repulsed by me but no...You know what she did?!" I didn't interrupt him.
"She asked me to be my submissive."
The glass I was holding, dropped off my hands, crashing on the floor.
"She what?!" I still couldn't move. His words had made me frozen in place.
"I told you, you needed a drink, for this. Oopsie... looks like you lost yours to the floor." He laughed as he got down on his knees to collect the pieces of glass on the floor, just to end up cutting his hand. He didn't wince from the pain. Instead, he was looking at it, fascinated.
"This is how my heart feels, right now. See?!" I saw streams of blood running down his fingers and all over his hand, ending up to the hem of his white shirt, only for it to disappear inside the jacket.
"And what did you do after she asked you to..." I couldn't even conceive it, let alone say it out loud. I started pinching my eyebrows with my fingers.
"Oh, God...you can't even say it! You're such a prude. No wonder she left you." This was the last straw and I punched him in the stomach, hard. He curled up, holding his stomach with one hand but didn't fight back. He just grabbed the back of the chair, trying to balance himself, in order not to fall down.
"You better close your foul mouth before I kick your ass!" I warned him but to no avail. He started speaking again.
"I tried to talk her out of it, at first but then, when I saw how much she was enjoying it, I turned into my old habits again." I closed my eyes and started to rub them, thinking this was just an hallucination from overworking myself for months. But no, he was still in front of me when I opened them.
"You're a good guy, Namjoonie. There's no way you could've kept up with her. She was just as deranged as me, you just didn't know it yet. I've never met someone like her. She was so eager to learn everything. She would do anything I asked her to, ANYTHING." He approached me slowly and kept looking at me with that crazed look he had whenever the argument was Y/n. I cracked my knuckles, ready to hit him.
"Hmmm...not yet. Here comes the best part." He put his hand in front of me, urging me to stop until he was done telling his wicked story.
"She was begging to be fucked, daily. She made me go crazy. I would find her riding my hard dick as soon as I opened my eyes. She wasn't satisfied until I exploded inside her. And then, she'd lick dry all the mess we had made." I thought I was about to go crazy hearing all of this. There's no way in hell he was telling me such things.
"She asked me to give her my worst. She trusted me so much that she wasn't afraid of what I might do to her. She had no idea the kind of beast she had unleashed inside me." I couldn't hear any more stuff coming out of his mouth. This was too much. I held him by the jacket and was about to drag him out when he spoke again.
"One time... " He held out his finger, making me stop.
"I made her lie on my bed and tied her hands over her head, with my belt. So tight, she couldn't move an inch. Then, her legs on each side of the bed, so she wouldn't be able to twist them and make herself cum." I punched him in the face, making his mouth bleed but he didn't stop. He just spited out the blood, wanting to continue.
"Shut up, you sick freak, shut up! I don't wanna hear any more of this shit!" I dragged him by the arm but with the sheer power left in him, he untangled myself from me.
"Yes, you do!" He came so close to my face I could smell the amount of alcohol in him. "You're losing your mind over it. Not so deep down, you just wanna know what made her so crazy about me." His eyes widened while staring at me. He looked as if he were posessed.
"Shut the fuck up! You fuck bastard!" I hit him again but he didn't neither protect himself, nor rebuke.
"I stimulated her for hours, with anything, toys, fingers, mouth...keeping her on the edge, every damn time. She couldn't even make herself cum." I closed my ears with my hands, hitting them with my hands but I could still hear him talk.
"She screamed, cried, begged me for mercy. She looked like a trapped deer, staring at me with those doe eyes. She wanted to cum so badly but she still refused to say the safe word. I whispered in her ear, telling her to say it so she could finally cum but she didn't. She loved staying on the thin line between excitement and pain. It's like you can't decide which one of them makes you feel more alive. I kept caressing her whole body to give her relief. She knew how much I wanted her to succumb to my will that's why she wasn't giving up yet." His mood swings were really starting to scare me.
"It was so poetic watching her like that. She was so wet, it was like a pool between her folds. I jerked myself off and came over her body, several times. You wouldn't believe how horny made me seeing her like that. I loved seeing her so desperate for my cock and fingers. She begged me to fuck her ass." He closed his eyes, probably recalling the memory.
"OMG!!! You psychopath! You fuck bastard! You're completely sick in the head." I hit him again until he fell on the floor. He fell on his knees before crashing on the floor, completely. Somehow, using the last forces in his body, he turned around so he could lay on his back. His face covered in blood.
"She was exhausted. I think... she even fainted once." His hysterical laughs alternated by his crying. His tears mixed up with blood streaming from his nose and lip to his cheek.
"She broke me first, though. The moment I put my fingers inside her, she came like an overflowing river, screaming my name. Like she never had before." He was trying to hold on to the last string of sanity. He was telling me all of this because he wanted me to follow him into the abyss he was precipitating. He was afraid of going alone. Just when I thought I was past this, past her, he dragged me back in, with him.
"Just shut the fuck up, already!" I started kicking him, several times, until he finally passed out. Then, I took the phone out of my pocket. There was a beep on the other side.
"911, what's your emergency?"
"There's a bleeding man in my office. I need an ambulance." After I ended the call, I poured myself another glass of whiskey and sat on the floor, next to him, waiting for the ambulance to arrive.p.s: "Hate you" inspired the whole thing
