Both of them had drifted off to sleep in the same positions they had been in. Beomgyu awoke earlier, immediately noticing that he wasn't on the mattress. His breath quickened when he saw Yeonjun beneath him. He remembered how they had ended up in this position.

Carefully, Beomgyu attempted to shift and get up without making any noise, but a large, strong arm wrapped around his waist, holding him close in a firm embrace. He was about to question this when he heard Yeonjun's voice, husky and intimate, saying, "Stay still." Beomgyu couldn't help but feel his heart race at the unexpected closeness and the intriguing request.

Yeonjun gently shifted Beomgyu's body to his left side, still keeping him securely within the circle of his arms. Their eyes locked onto each other's, and it was evident that something profound had developed between them. It had become so undeniable, so prominent, that neither of them could continue to ignore it any longer.

"Hey?" Beomgyu uttered, unsure of what to say in this moment. Yeonjun responded with a slight, reserved smile, replying, "Hey."

Beomgyu then attempted to break the silence by asking, "Did you sleep well?" Yeonjun nodded, but Beomgyu could tell there was something more to be addressed. He pursed his lips, and after a moment of contemplation, Yeonjun sighed and said, "We need to talk."

Beomgyu sat up, and Yeonjun allowed him to do so. Beomgyu inquired, "About what?"

Yeonjun hesitated briefly before explaining, "You know, it's been almost two months since you came here..." Beomgyu nodded, and Yeonjun continued, "And we have only one more month to plan everything." Beomgyu couldn't help but wonder why Yeonjun had used "we" instead of "you." After sensing Beomgyu's confusion, Yeonjun clarified, "I mean, there's one month left until Ben is supposed to come back to the palace, right?" Beomgyu nodded, but the pain of constantly lying to Yeonjun and everyone else gnawed at him. Yeonjun pressed on, saying, "We should start planning; there's not much time left."

"We should start planning? You mean you will assist me? Not that I mind, of course. We're partners," Beomgyu remarked, sensing that something was amiss in Yeonjun's words.

Yeonjun, noticing Beomgyu's hesitation, responded, "Our goal is almost the same, so..." But Beomgyu cut in, his panic evident, "Same? How is it the same? I wanted to take revenge by killing Charlotte. How is this related to you?"

Yeonjun remained calm and inquired, "Jimin didn't tell you?" It seemed there was information Beomgyu was missing, and Yeonjun was about to fill in the gaps.

Beomgyu shook his head, still puzzled by the notion of a "same goal" that kept cropping up in their conversations. As Yeonjun was about to explain, his phone began to ring with 'Jimin' displayed on the screen. Yeonjun picked up the call, his expression clearly annoyed. Simultaneously, the doorbell rang, and Beomgyu headed toward it.

When Beomgyu opened the door, he found Soobin standing there. Soobin immediately examined Beomgyu and commented, "Wow, you look fine. You can walk now?" Beomgyu nodded and replied shyly, "Yeah." Soobin's expression soured as he glanced at Yeonjun, who was still on the phone. Soobin then turned to Beomgyu and remarked, "I don't know how you can stand being in the same house with that guy. I'd freak out." Beomgyu chuckled and whispered, "He's not that bad..."

Soobin raised an eyebrow and suggested, "Hey, up for some cake? Kai baked it." Beomgyu glanced at Yeonjun and then back at Soobin. He finally agreed, "Sure." When Beomgyu looked back at Yeonjun, he had ended the call and asked, "Can I go to Soobin's?" Soobin interrupted, stating, "Why are you asking him?" Yeonjun agreed, "Yeah." Beomgyu nodded and led Soobin out, while Yeonjun had his own plans – meeting Jimin.
