CHAPTER 6

I'M CURRENTLY at a club, having the best night of my life. I'm with Nicole na pinagpaalam ko pa kay Tito Noah. It meant so much to me that he let his wife come. Nicole is my rock, and having her there made the whole experience even better.

We clinked our champagne glasses together and shouted. “Best night ever!” -I swayed my hips to the beat, yelling “Cheers!” -with a big smile.

“Cheers!”

Lots of guys were trying to flirt with me, but Darwin Khazariah was watching. Kapag titingin ang mga lalaki sa kanya, agad namang umaatras. Paano ba namang hindi lalapit sa'min eh nakakunot ang noo na akala mo naman inaano.

His blue eyes, like pools of ice, held a captivating intensity that made me feel both drawn to him and terrified. They sent shivers down my spine and gave me goosebumps.

I was so annoyed, I couldn't help but roll my eyes. What was he staring at us for?

“Sa tingin ko may crush sa'kin si Darwin,” -bulong ko kay Nicole na agad niyang ikinatigil. “Look at him. That flirty stare.”

“Oh god,” -she murmured. “Lahat na lang binibigyan ng kahulugan.”

Anong lahat? I'm saying the truth here. Halata namang may crush sya sa'kin, bakit niya ako tititigan kung wala? Sa sobrang dami-daming babae dito sa club sa'kin talaga sya magpapapansin?

Like, seriously?

“Paanong hindi ko bibigyan?” -inayos ko ang hair ko. “I could see the fire in his eyes as he glared at those guys who were trying to flirt with me. I knew he was jealous. Well, can't blame him tho, I'm Zafire Diamond Cullen. After all, hindi na ako magta-taka kung pati sya mai-inlove sa'kin.”

She chuckled. “Oh geez, Zaffy. Hindi ba pweding binabantayan ka niya kasi inutusan sya nang kapatid mo? Your brother knows you're here, and everyone knows this club is a bit of a hotbed for trouble. We can't blame him for asking that good-looking guy to watch over you, especially since he's known for being a bit of a tough protector.”

I know this club isn't exactly known for its innocence, but I don't think John would ask his friend to guard me. Hindi kami parating magkasundo pero alam kong hindi niya gagawin 'yon. He's not concerned about my safety because he knows I can handle myself. My dad taught me how to fight, and I've been in a few scrapes. I might seem dainty pero alam ko kung paano makipagsuntukan.

Napabuga ako nang hangin. Okay fine, hindi talaga ako magaling, naggagaling-galingan, oo.

“Why don't we play a game of dares?” -I licked my lips, a mischievous glint in my eyes as I met Darwin's gaze. “Kapag napatunayan kong may gusto sya sa'kin at inamin niyang crush ako,” -tinuro ko ang isang guy na nakasuot ng isang itim na shirt at may hawak na tequila. “Makipaghalikan ka sa lalaking 'yon. French kiss, and I want you to record it.”

“Just incase you forgot, I have my husband, so I can't cheat on him.”

“Malalaman ba ni Tito?”

“No.”

“So?”

“So, I'm not going to follow you,” -she crossed her arms. “Pero dahil alam kong mali ang inaakala mo, magbi-bigay ako nang dare.”

I gave her my wicked smile. “And what is it?”

She drained her champagne glass in one gulp before speaking. “Have séx with Glenn.”

“What?”

“Séx. With Mr Glenn Klay Romero.”

I gulped, my throat suddenly dry. My heart stopped dead in my chest as she uttered the words. The way she said "sex" and "Glenn" made my ears ring like a bell. Oh my god, was she actually suggesting what I thought she was suggesting? Sa lahat ng pwedi kong makajugjugan, si Glenn pa talaga?
