"With foxes, we must play the fox." - Doctor Thomas Fuller
Spencer and I were hanging out at my apartment, as usual. I decided to introduce him to the world of rom coms, staring with When Harry Met Sally. "I have no idea why you like this." He mumbled. "It's not even accurate, especially the orgasm scene."
"Have you ever had an orgasm?" I questioned him with a quirked eyebrow and an amused smile.
"Well, no..." He fumbled in his own words. "But I'm assuming no one could be that loud while climaxing."
I paused the movie and stared right into his hazel eyes. "Maybe you should try it."
"Try what?" He was confused.
"Having an orgasm. Duh!" I stated and grinned at the thought of Spencer having sex, since he's such a germophobe.
Spencer glanced at me and scratched the back of his head. "I... Umm...We should watch the movie." He turned to the TV.
I moved closer to him and put my elbow on the couch, supporting my head with my hand. "Spence, have you ever had a crush on a girl?"
"Of course." He asked immediately.
"Why didn't you ever make a move?" I asked astoundingly. "You're an attractive guy and I'm sure many women feel the same way." I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks.
Spencer kept staring at the screen. "I don't know how to speak to women." He admitted with a shy smile.
I grabbed his face and made him look at me. "You can talk to me so I'm sure you can talk to other women."
"It's easy to talk to you, Cass." He had a serious look on his face. "You understand me and can keep up with train of thought. Other people get bored once I start talking." He laughed nervously.
I swallowed my own saliva, knowing exactly what he meant. "If it makes you feel better, guys seem to zone out when I talk." I smiled softly and he shook his head. "It's true."
"But you're beautiful, Cassie." Spencer looked right into my eyes before glancing at my lips. "Any guy would be lucky to have you." He started to lean closer to me. Was he going to kiss me? And then our phones started to buzz. "It's Hotch." He said and I got up, ready to go to work. It must be an emergency.
"I'll drive." I said in nervousness. "We should save gas." I rambled and Spencer looked at his feet. Man, we almost made a huge, terrible, brutal mistake.

At the round table, I sat as far away from Spencer as possible, trying to avoid the big elephant in the room. "The Crawfords were found last night murdered in their own home. They were supposed to be on vacation." JJ informed us.
"What do we know about them?" Gideon asked while glancing at me and Spencer.
"They were an upper class family and their two children went to private school. They went through some financial problems but seemed to be working on them." JJ replied.
I stared at the crime scene photos. "Mr. Crawford is missing his wedding ring." I pointed out. "Could the unsub been taking trophies?"
"It's possible." Hotch replied. "Especially, if he wants to relieve his killings."
"But why kill the kids?" Elle asked, feeling a bit uneasy.
Spencer looked at me with a sad smile. "Perhaps the entire family is a surrogate for what the unsub desires."
