"There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else." - Hemingway
My mind was completely lost in all the paperwork I had to hand to Hotch. It wasn't the worst job in the world but it was boring. I glanced around me and noticed my coworkers were absentmindedly avoiding doing their paperwork. Morgan was on the computer, probably on some dating website, Elle was tapping her pen on the table while Spencer looked lost in thought while going through one of the cases.
"Hey, Spence!" I whispered to him, getting his attention. "Do you think JJ has a case for us?"
"I have no idea." Spencer replied with a humorous look. "Cassie, I'm bored." He whispered.
I nodded and then we all turned our heads to Hotch. "Meeting in 10." He announced and I smiled in pure joy.
"I manifested a case." I giggled and held Spencer's arm.
"What has gotten into that woman?" Morgan asked as I stuck my tongue out to him and he laughed.
Spencer turned his head back to Morgan and Elle. "She believes she manifested a case." Morgan shook his head while laughing and Elle smiled at my childlike manner.
I sat between Spencer and Elle and looked at the screen, eager to find out what type of case is in store for us.
JJ grabbed the remote and awful images appeared on screen. "William and Helen DiMarco were found in their house slaughtered and mutilated in Baltimore." There was blood all over the walls and on the floor.
"Could it be a personal vendetta?" Morgan asked, too astounded to elaborate.
"They had a nephew with mob connections." JJ pressed a button and body parts flooded the screen. "Frederick Condore. He was dismembered and the unsub disposed of his body in the trash."
"Perhaps the unsub viewed Frederick as insignificant which is why he didn't even bother to bury the body parts." I suggested.
Spencer leaned back on his chair. "It could also be a sign of psychopathy. He doesn't feel remorse." I nodded in agreement.
"If Condore had ties to the mob, this could be a hit." Elle stated.
"Either way, we must go to Baltimore. Wheels up in 30." Hotch said as he looked at the screen.
I walked along side my peers and sighed. "I never meant to manifest such a brutal case." Morgan rolled his eyes while Elle and Spencer laughed.

Once we arrived in Baltimore, we were greeted by the local detective. "I'm glad you could make it." He said while shaking hands with Hotch.
"You were certain this was a mob hit." Hotch said. "This is my team. SSA Morgan, Gideon and Greenaway." They all shook hands. "Drs. Reid and Porter." Both Spencer and I recoiled, only smiling softly at the detective. "And our Media Liaisons Jennifer Jareau."
"Why do you think this is mob related?" Gideon asked.
The detective lead us to a room where we could set up base. "Freddy Condore and his buddy Jimmy worked for Michael Russo, a known mobster and now Jimmy is missing." He informed us.
Hotch turned to us. "Gideon, Morgan and Porter go to the crime scene." We nodded. "Greenaway and I will go to Michael Russo while Reid..." He turned to the scrawny boy. "You and Garcia try to find Jimmy."
Gideon, Morgan and I arrived at the DiMarco residence. I looked at the wall in front of the vanity mirror where Helen DiMarco was found. "The blood spatter means her throat was slashed." I mimicked the action. "A clean cut, easy death. No torture."
