"Nothing is easier than denouncing the evildoer. Nothing more difficult than understanding him." - Dostoevsky

I was too tired. The previous night, Spencer and I watched the first trilogy of Star Wars and I barely slept when he left. It was the first time we didn't sleep in the same bed.

There was a soft knock on my door and I smiled widely as I opened the door and saw my boyfriend standing there with two large cups of coffee. "Special delivery for the most beautiful girl in the world." He leaned in to give me a quick kiss and I quickly grabbed my coffee, making him laugh.

"I'm in desperate need of caffeine." I complained.

"Me too. Last night was wild." Spencer commented as he entered my apartment.

I sat on the couch and he sat next to me, placing his arm around my shoulder. "We shouldn't have watched three movies in a row."

"We couldn't just watch one movie of a trilogy without watching the others." Spencer stated confidently. "It wouldn't make sense."

"Spence, tonight I'm going to need my beauty sleep. I look like a freaking zombie." I sighed loudly.

Spencer cupped my cheeks and smiled. "All I see is my beautiful girlfriend. Not a zombie." I melted with his words. He was so charming.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. His lips were warm and his tongue tasted like coffee. This man has the power to either lift me up or break me. Hopefully, he will always lift me up.

We were all gathered at the conference room when Hotch and JJ walked in. "Katie Jacobs disappeared a few hours ago from the Potomac Mills mall." The blonde announced.

"The authorities called us because last week a girl was abducted from the same mall and found dead." Hotch explained.

"Two abductions in a span of a week is exceptionally rare, particularly at the same site." I stated.

"Pedophiles normally take time to get to know their victims as to not arouse suspicions." Spencer added.

Hotch gathered the files. "Porter, when we get there, I need you to focus on the family and their actions."

I nodded. "Alright, boss."

Morgan came up to me and put his arm around me, making Spencer squirm. "What do you say we drive together?" He winked.

"It sounds like a plan. We can all go." Spencer said, rushing us through the door.

"Pretty Boy, I meant just Cassie." Morgan smirked and I rolled my eyes.

Spencer stopped in his tracks and turned to us. "We're friends, Morgan, and friends share car rides. Sharing is caring."

"He's right." I chimed in.

Morgan shook his head in amusement. "You two have been acting weirder than usual in the past few months. I'm gonna get to the bottom of this." I glanced at Spencer and his eyebrows were raised. I sure hope Morgan is just bluffing.

We arrived at the mall and I noticed Katie's family. Mrs. Jacobs was a mess and so was her husband. He had a twin brother who looked more distraught than the girl's father. Something was odd.

"Who was the last person to see Katie?" I heard JJ ask Mrs. Jacobs.

"She was with her cousin, Jeremy." The woman answered between sobs.
