"If men could only know each other, they would neither idolize nor hate." - Elbert Hubbard

I arrived at the BAU and noticed a woman in Hotch's office. She had black hair and looked scared, although talking to Hotch could be quite intimidating.

"Who's that?" I pointed at the woman while sitting at my desk.

Spencer glanced at Hotch's office and shrugged. "I have no idea."

"Do you think she's here to replace Elle?" I asked while grabbing a file from the paperwork stack.

"It's possible. Elle left a few months ago." He replied.

I grabbed my pen and started to fill the forms. "I hope she's nice."

Morgan walked behind me and put his hand on my shoulder. "How are my favorite geniuses?" He smirked.

"We're the only geniuses you know." Spencer pointed out.

I grinned at his response. "Spencer is too tense." I joked.

Morgan sat on my desk. "All work and no play makes Pretty Boy frustrated."

Spencer rolled his eyes. "We have paperwork to fill out." He replied in annoyance.

"Someone woke on the wrong side of the bed this morning." Morgan laughed and left.

I leaned forward and threw a paper ball at Spencer. "What's up with you, grumpy?"

"I'm just tired." He replied but then looked at me. "Wanna go out for dinner tonight?"

"I'd love that." I answered and he smiled. Hopefully we won't have a case and I get to spend some alone time with Spencer.

I subconsciously manifested a case when I was hoping for a calm day. Hotch really knows how to ruin my plans.

"We're going to St. Louis." Hotch announced.

JJ handed us a double load of files and I was extremely confused. "Ellen Carroll was missing from a park while she was with her family."

"Is it the Mill Creek Killer?" I asked.

"Evidence points that way." She replied.

Spencer skimmed through the other file. "What about Marci Mitchell? She doesn't fit the victimology and the MO is completely different."

Gideon put his glasses on and read both files. "The Mill Creek Killer targets brunettes from middle-class areas. Marci Mitchell was a prostitute."

"Are there two serial killers in the same city?" Morgan raised an eyebrow.

"Statistically speaking, that is highly unlikely." I started. "Serial killers are very territorial and tend to stay on their comfort zone but they would also be enraged if another one was operating on their turf."

Spencer leaned back. "Cassie is right. Two serial killers in the same city would create tension, like a competition which would increase the number of victims and an escalation in brutality. Not to mention, the cooling-off period would be lower."

"Two serial killers. Two different MOs. Two different victimologies. We need to split into two teams." Gideon suggested.

"I agree. Gideon, Reid and JJ will look into the Mill Creek Killer while Morgan and Porter stay with me in the Hollow Man case." Hotch said and we nodded.

I leaned closer to Morgan. "Have you ever seen anything like this?" I asked.

"This is a first, Pretty Girl." He replied and we grabbed our go bags to go to the jet. This was going to be a tough case.
