"Evil is always unspectacular and always human, and shares our bed, and eats at our table." - W. H. Auden

Spencer and I were sitting on our respective desks when we noticed Penelope Garcia carrying a bouquet of flowers and heading towards Gideon's office. "Hey, Spence!" I called to get his attention. "Why is Garcia going to Gideon's office with flowers?"

He shrugged. "It's not his birthday."

"She was smiling which means those are her flowers." I speculated.

Morgan and Elle joined us. "What's the gossip?" She asked with an amused expression.

"Garcia went to Gideon's office with a bouquet." Spencer filled them him.

"Oh Babygirl..." Morgan trailed off and shook his head in secondhand embarrassment. "That woman is going to make a fool out of herself."

"I bet Gideon is going to be confused." I widened my blue eyes.

Hotch stood next to us and coughed to get our attention. "We have a case." He startled us and we all followed him, earning a smirk from JJ.

As we entered the conference room, I sat next to Spencer and watched as Gideon got inside the room and turned to Hotch. "Did you send flowers to that tech girl from me?"

"I did." Hotch nodded. "She did a phenomenal job putting up with you, Jason."

"I already sent an MP3 player." Gideon shrugged while sitting next to me. "What if she thinks I'm sweet on her?" He asked incredulously. We all laughed at his comment for a couple of minutes before turning our attention to the screen.

JJ turned the screen on and looked at us. "Billie Copeland was abducted yesterday from the local community park in Wilmington, Delaware. No AMBER alert was issued immediately due to suspicion that she might have been with her father."

"Divorced?" I asked and JJ nodded.

"This is a sensitive and urgent case." Hotch warned us. "Wheels up in 30."

While driving to the police station, I went through the files trying to find something the police missed. "Children are taught of the importance of 'stranger danger', prompting them to fear the 'scary man' which contradicts the statistics of child abductions in our country." Spencer rambled.

"Strangers are only a small fraction of sex offenders. Children are typically abducted and molested by family members, friends, teachers... All people children would feel safe around." I added and he nodded in agreement.

"There is a chance Billie Copeland was abducted by someone who knew her routine, specifically, that she would be at the park for soccer practice." Spencer stated.

"Or a harmless stranger caught her attention." I chimed in.

Hotch parked the car and we got to the police station. "Detective Russet, I'm SSA Hotchner, this is our Media Liaisons Jennifer Jareau and Drs. Reid and Porter." He introduced us as usual.

"Sorry for calling you on such short notice but we need al the help we can get." The detective explained.

"Of course." They shook hands and Hotch turned to us. "Reid, I need a geographical profile. Porter, you go with Gideon to the local elementary school and find out if the kids know anything. Perhaps our unsub tried to lure one of them." I nodded in annoyance. I liked kids but I didn't know how to get their attention.

Gideon and I walked into a classroom and the kids looked bored. Of course, they would be bored. Not even kids want to hear two FBI agents talking about the dangers outside when they should be able to feel safe.
