"Evil brings men together." - Aristotle

Gideon, Morgan and I entered a diner and a waitress came up to us. "Hello handsome! I've been waiting for you my whole life." Gideon ignored her and walked to a booth, both Morgan and I on his tail.

We stopped at a booth where a man was sitting, reading the newspaper. As soon as I gazed into his eyes, a cold shiver went down my spine. This man was the definition of evil. "Where is she?" Gideon asked in anger. He's usually calm but this man had a strange effect on my mentor.

The man looked at us and smiled. It was like looking at the devil himself. "Jason Gideon, Derek Morgan and the lovely Cassidy Porter." He motioned to the booth. "Please sit."

One day earlier

I finally got my car back and was able to drive Spencer to work. He knocked on my door, holding two coffee cups, which became routine, and I grabbed my purse and keys to head outside. "I just want you to know that I appreciate this coffee so much." I kissed his cheek, making him blush, and held my special coffee.

"I actually enjoy going on these coffee runs. The barista already knows what I'm going to order." Spencer confessed. He was so adorable.

We entered the elevator and I glanced at the tall man standing next to me. "I need to ask you something."

Spencer looked at me and gave me a goofy smile. I can't with this man. "Anything for you." He took a sip of his coffee.

"The Mayor is honoring my father for his work as a judge and there's gonna be a ball and I need a date." I blurted out.

"Is there going to be dancing involved?" Spencer asked nervously.

"Duh... It's a ball, Spence." I rolled my eyes and stared at him. "Are you coming? My mom already got a tux for you."

His hazel eyes were fixated on me and he gave me a tight lipped smile. That damn smile! "Would that make you happy?"

I nodded with a wide grin. "The happiest."

"Then I'll gladly be your date."

I jumped into his arms and kissed his cheek in ecstasy. "Thank you, Spence." The elevator came to a halt and we walked to my car. I was going to a ball with Spencer Reid!

Gideon was studying every single facial feature of the man that sat before us. His icy blue eyes never betrayed him. Not even I could tell if he was lying or hiding something. In my entire life, no one was able to hide their emotions from me, I'm too good at analyzing them. I felt powerless.

"Tell me where she is." Gideon's eyes never left the strange man. It was a battle of wills.

The man smiled. It was eerie. "I will tell you where she is when I finish my milkshake." I could tell Gideon was uneasy. "And then, I'm going to leave... alive."

"There's no way you're going to leave." Morgan kept pointing his gun at the man. "Not after what you've done."

JJ was handing us the case files while the images were on the screen. "Two body parts were found in the desert this morning." She filled us in. "It belonged to Reno Rodriguez, a gang member, and Katherine Hale, a runaway."

"Are the victims connected?" I asked while reading the file.

"There's no link between them." JJ said.

Morgan leaned on the table. "The unsub is organized. He left the bodies in the desert knowing the animals were going to tear them apart."

"Look at the incision on the body parts." Spencer pointed at the photo. "It's almost precise."
