"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask and he will tell you the truth." - Oscar Wilde

Spencer and I were having breakfast in my apartment. We started doing this last year but stopped after the whole Cramer debacle. It seems as if only yesterday I joined the BAU, but whenever I'm around Spencer I feel like I've known him my whole life.

"Here's your bacon and eggs, Doctor." I put the plate in front of him.

"Thank you doctor." He smiled and grabbed the cutlery. "Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day." He stated with a smug look on his beautiful face.

I raised an eyebrow. "You do know that I'm also a genius, right?"

He gave an embarrassed smile. "You're a genius and a great cook." He took the fork to his mouth and nodded in approval. "This is amazing."

"Spence, I've cooked you breakfast before." I shook my head and smiled in amusement.

"But that was before." He explained. "Now I'm trying to win your affection by showering you with compliments and making you feel seen."

I sat next to him and poured orange juice in my glass. "Did you find a book about courtship in the library?" I wiggled my eyebrows.

"I read it in Cosmo." He stated and I laughed. "What? It is a great source of information regarding the female gender. More men should read it."

I nudged his arm and he dropped his fork. "My sister likes taking their quizzes."

He picked up the fork and blew on it. "I took a quiz and according to it my soulmate is a gemini. Whatever that means."

"I'm a gemini." I gasped.

"That means the quiz is absolutely correct." He grabbed another fork and kept eating.

I shrugged at his comment. "You amaze me, Spencer Reid."

"And I intend to amaze you everyday." He leaned closer and took a whiff of my hair. "You smell like coconut."

I blushed at his gesture. "I use coconut oil on my hair."

He leaned again and my heart started beating uncontrollably. "There's a hint of vanilla on your skin."

"It's my perfume." I said while trying to avert his gaze.

Spencer kissed my cheek. "Those are my favorite scents now." He smiled and I threw a napkin at him. He could be such a goofball.

The team was called to Los Angeles to investigate a series of bank robberies, with the last one being more brutal than the others. Last time we were in LA, Spencer kissed a wannabe actress. I shouldn't think about that, though.

We reviewed the bank's security footage and saw what he was doing. "That looks a lot like a psychodrama." I said.

"What's that?" Morgan asked.

"It's a program used to reenact trauma using role play to give insight into a patient's life." Spencer replied.

I rolled my eyes at him for answering for me. "It's also used in psychiatric institutions and prisons." I added with a smug.

Spencer smiled before turning his attention to the footage. "I just don't know what he's trying to reenact."

"The unsub is pointing a gun at the couples while they simulate sex." Elle noticed.
