"No man needs a vacation so much as the man who has just had one." - Elbert Hubbard

It was the most amazing time of the year. Vacation. The only I had left to do was turn in my reports to Hotch and I was free. Too bad I was about to spend two weeks without Spencer.

"Are you excited to see your mom?" I asked my best friend with the biggest grin on my face. I didn't know much about Diana Reid, but she seemed like an exciting person.

"Yeah." Spencer replied and I could tell he was nervous.

"Liar." I threw him a pencil and he widened his hazel eyes.

Morgan and Elle showed up with excited looks on their faces. "Ready for some vacation time?" Morgan asked with a wide smile.

"Always." I stood up and grabbed my jacket. "Ready for Jamaica?" I asked them.

"I sure hope it's a paradise, Morgan. If it isn't, I'm gonna shove my foot so further up your ass..." Elle threatened and I laughed. They would be good together.

Morgan draped his arm around me. "Where are you going, Pretty Girl?"

"I'm going to Connecticut to spend time with my sister." I replied. "My brother in law is in New York on a business trip and I promised her I would help her with my niece."

"What about you, Reid?" Morgan asked.

Spencer grabbed his satchel and glanced at me. "I'm going to Las Vegas to see my mom."

"When Spencer gets back we're going to a movie fest." I smiled and both Elle and Morgan chuckled.

"Well, have a good time." Elle smiled and we all left.

I was really excited to spend time with my sister. I haven't seen her since Christmas and I adored my niece, Millie. My life in DC is great, but I really miss New Haven.

__________________________________________________________________________

My first day in New Haven and I was already overwhelmed. Kitty prepared a nice dinner and we watched some movies. She was hogging my time but I loved her so much. When we were younger we weren't particularly close, but when we started high school she became my best friend.

Trish and Cheryl were also extremely happy with my arrival and decided we were all going to have a girls night, although it started after lunch.

"It sucks that you don't come here often." Trish complained.

"I have to work." I smiled. "Plus, it makes my visits even more special."

Trish stuck her tongue out and I laughed at her childlike gesture. "You gotta tell us everything about Spencer Reid." Cheryl demanded. "As your best friends, we need to make sure he's good enough for you."

"There's nothing going on between me and Spencer." I started fidgeting. "We're just friends."

"I know you, CeCe." Cheryl stepped closer to me. "And I've never heard you speak so highly of anyone as you do about Spencer."

Trish laid on the couch on her stomach while her chin rested on her hands. "Have you even kissed him?"

"No." I blushed.

"Then how do you know you like a guy without kissing him?" Trish pointed out.

Cheryl threw a pillow at her twin. "It's clear that they have feelings for each other."

"I'm just sayin'..." Trish sighed loudly. "If you really want to be sure just kiss him. What do you have to lose?"

"My job!" I replied with a shocked expression. "Strauss would fire me if I acted upon my feelings."
