Haruhi's POV
I leaned on the door, Hoping Skye and Raven would let me in.
"Sometime's you have to lean on others. It'll just be me ok?" I told Raven, Since she was the one speaking. I heard her and Skye slightly argue about weather to let me in. In the end, Raven made sure it was just me before unlocking and cracking open the door. I sighed in relief when none of the idiot hosts followed me inside. It kind of surprised me, But there was no time for that. Looking around their apartment, I realized it was a little more spacey than mine and my dads.
It was a large living room connected with a kitchen and two other rooms on each side of the apartment. Skye was lying face down on the couch and Raven was sitting back down on the floor beside her patting Skye's back. From what I could tell, Skye was crying, But I wasn't positive since her face was face down into a pillow with blue flowers on the pillow case.
"Hey..." I said awkwardly. I knew I told them I wanted to help, But I forgot that I wasn't too great in these situations.
I walked over to beside Raven and sat down. She scooted over some but didn't start to talk. I waited a minute in the awkward silence before breaking the ice and asking,
"What happened?"
Raven looked at me and than at Skye who didn't look up.
"What have those dumb ass's told you?" Raven asked clenching her teeth. Well, They probably didn't tell me everything, according to the look on Raven's face.
"They said that They were joking around about why you two didn't wear bikini's. They do it all the time with me, And you two don't seem like the people to get upset over something like that. So, Whenever you're ready, Mind telling me what really happened?" I asked trying to keep my voice soft. I have to remember to talk to Hikaru and Kaoru about this later.
"Well...I don't think Skye or me are ready to tell you the entire story...But can you keep a secret?" Raven asked shifting nervously from her position. I nodded, Since I was 99.9 percent sure that I could.
"Promise?" She asked as if she were a little kid still.
"Yea. I promise I won't tell a soul." I promised, reassuring her.
"Ok...Well, As I said before, I don't think I'm prepared to tell the entire story, but as crazily weird this sounds, when one of the idiot twins almost poked Skye, it brought back... Some bad memories." Raven managed out, trying to find the right words to say. Before I could stop myself I asked.
"What kind of memories?" My hand went towards my mouth on instinct, but I brought it back down and Skye say up.
"You don't have to an-" I started but before I could finish Skye lifted the end of her shirt up. At first I was confused. Than I saw a jagged line that ran along her stomach.
It ran around her waist and probably around her back too. The jagged line was thick and I could only imagine how she got it. Luckily this time, I could contain myself from asking.
Raven was looking down and clenching her teeth. I could see a tear run down her cheek and I turned my glance back to Skye.
Skye laid back on the couch and turned her head back into her pillow. I had no idea how to really help them. I knew they probably needed some alone time, but I decided to give them a push before leaving.
I stood up and walked towards the door, Gathering together what I was going to say. I turned around to face Raven and Skye. Raven was looking at me, and I was sure Skye was listening.
"You two aren't the only people in the world who have secret's or bad times in life. Everyone has a bad day, And maybe your's is worse, But it doesn't change the fact that eventually you'll have to move on with the world. You can take your time, But I want you two to know, You have friends now. We're here to help." I finished after a moment. I turned around for a second before sighing.
"So let us help."
I turned the door knob slowly before heading out and meeting the sun rays. The sun was setting, And the sky was lit with bursts of yellow and orange. I turned my gaze and saw the Host club sitting on the steps.
"How did it go?" Kyoya asked shifting his glasses up right forming a glare. "We can't let another day of Hosting pass us. It wouldn't be good for-"
"I get the point. It went...Fine I guess." I said thinking back on it.
"Why are they upset?" Tamaki asked leaning forward, strands of hair going past his face. I shrugged.
"They just need some alone time I think." I concluded, and the Host's stood up. I pointed at Kaoru and Hikaru. "And you two, You need to apologize."
"What? We didn't do anything!"
"Not in your point of view. But it really hurt Skye and Raven. Just write a letter or something." I told them. Sometimes they could really be stupid. Then again, Without knowing what it did to Skye or Raven, I might've thought the same thing as them.
"Fine." They agreed in sync, even though it was more of a huff than an answer.
----------------------------------
•Night time•
I laid my head on my pillow and thought about the earlier event. While it still confused me, I kind of understood too. If you put together the pieces it makes sense.
It obviously had something to do with their past. And I had a huge feeling that this wasn't an accident. Someone had hurt Skye, the question is who?
Maybe a close friend or family member. Maybe...I don't know.
I groaned and slammed my head back into my pillow. This was so confusing. This was so frustrating.
Even if I know it's best to let Skye and Raven tell us themselves, it's hard to wait for them to be ready. It's bothering the other Hosts too.
Tamaki knows when to stop though. Despite his actions, he must really consider other people's feelings often. It was kind of sweet... Anyways, I could tell he was trying not to ask.
Kyoya... Something tells me he already knows. The way he smirks. And that little black notebook. How did he know? Another question of life.
Honey and Mori were hardly trying to dig up people's secrets, but they were always trying to help. And to not know what's wrong makes it kind of hard to be able to help.
And finally, the twins. Hell, they did ask. Kaoru was better with people's feelings than Hikaru. So Hikaru probably set off the twins. Even if it was just a joke. But here's the thing.
Everyone has a secret.
Most secrets are bad. Some are good. Some secrets aren't your secrets to share. But all secrets are meant to be kept.
Than that leads me to wonder. Is it a secret or a threat? Do they feel threatened by someone? They did move to Japan. For some reason.
But no matter the reason,
We wanted to be there friends. And friends help each other.
So why won't they let us help?
