Skye's POV

Tamaki's house was as big and luxurious as the rest of the Host's houses. Besides Haruhi's, that is.

"You guys always spend so much money on houses," Raven commented as we stepped into the building.

"Of course! What would I do if I wanted to have all of you over and there weren't enough rooms?" he asked dramatically as he held out his hand as if to be showcasing his house. Raven rolled her eyes and I let out a soft giggle.

"That's so tragic to think about," Raven muttered sarcastically.

"Tamaki," a voice rang from the top of the stairs. Tamaki froze for brief second before turning to the top of the stairs to face a woman.

"Oh, Grandmother. I didn't know you were here tonight," Tamaki said with a forced smile. I felt my stomach twist when Tamaki forced that smile. He's always so happy, I couldn't begin to wonder what this was about.

"Yes. Why did you bring them?" she spat, motioning towards the group of Hosts, including me.

"They needed to speak with my father," Tamaki informed her but her cold expression stayed the same.

"I see there are two new hosts?" she asked with a pinch of curiosity in her voice. She said the word 'hosts' patronizingly, causing me to frown. I knew that hosting wasn't exactly the best activity, but it brought happiness to people. In the end, isn't that all that matters?

"Well, yes. This is Skye and Raven," Tamaki introduced us and the Host Club stepped to the side so we were visible. I felt her eyes scan over me and Raven, scrutinizing us as if we were objects in a store display window.

"Twins," she commented. Raven raised a brow and turned to face me.

"What's going on?" she asked before looking back at the lady. I looked up at her as well. She made me feel very self confident as her cold eyes stared.

"Alright. Your father is in his office," she grumbled before turning and walking back into a room. The tension in the air was lifted somewhat and Honey was the first to speak.

"I hate that woman," he mumbled under his breath. I felt my breath catch as Honey said that. I couldn't imagine Honey ever hating anybody.

"Don't be absurd!" Tamaki chuckled, but I could tell he didn't particularly like her either. I could relate though. At first when father was mad, I told myself it was a phase. He still loved me.

I had to learn the hard way that I was wrong.

Of course, Tamaki isn't in the same situation as Raven and I. I think.

It was unbearable to think of the happy-go-lucky Tamaki in a situation that was even slightly similar to the one Raven and I had been in.

"You can take a seat in the living room. I'll go get my father," he said before swiftly walking around a corner and down another hall.

"What was that all about?" Raven asked before jumping on one of the couches and folding her legs under her.

"Tamaki and his grandmother do not have the best relationship," Kyoya said. That was obvious. I sat down beside Raven and turned to Kyoya.

"Why not?" I asked bluntly.

It was quiet for a moment before Kaoru spoke up.

"We all know, and Tamaki already trusts them. We might as well tell them," he said and I felt my stomach turn. The quiet combined with that answer was agonizingly ominous. All I could imagine were horrible answers.
