{33} What doesnt kill me

Skye's POV

I woke up to Raven shaking me and calling my name. I had dozed off sometime after we were done playing cards when we were in the middle of nowhere but now we were in front of another house. Well this one was more like a mansion. Do these people really need that many rooms?

I yawned and looked at my phone to see what time it was.

I sighed and looked at Raven. We hadn't talked since...Well I guess a while.

"Are you alright?" I asked out of habit, but she really didn't look good now. She was paler than usual and looked cold.

"I'm fine." She said sniffing.

"Your sick."

"Am not."

"Are too."

"Am-" she started before she had a coughing fit.

"Are too." I mumbled helping her out of the limo. Everyone was just waking up or stretching so no one really said anything.

"Welcome to our home." Kaoru muttered walking towards the building. Hikaru followed and they knocked on the door carefully.

I don't know why there parents would still be awake, but whatever.

Surprisingly, when the door opened it was a maid. Not the parents.

"Our parents our on a business trip, but they'll be back tomorrow, so maybe you can meet them." Hikaru explained.

"Can I get you guys anything?" She asked closing the door after everyone was inside. She had really pretty brown hair that had a slight red tint to it.

"Let's just get everybody set up in their room." Kaoru informed her. She nodded and began up the stairs. The stairs were a bright white. This place seemed really well kept.

"We can take it from here." Hikaru said stopping in front of the first door on the right.

"O-Okay then.." She mumbled and turned around.

"Oh-Thank you!" I spurted before she could get out of earshot distance. She turned around and smiled with a slight bow before continuing to go down the stairs.

"This is our room if you ever need anything." Hikaru said quickly knocking on the door. I noted that somewhere in my brain just in case. We continued onwards down the hall.

"These next three room's can be Kyoya's, Tamaki's, Mori's and Honey's. One of them has two beds." Kaoru explained quickly before turning around and going down another hallway where there were 3 more bedrooms.

"Here, you three can have these. Do you guys need anything?" Kaoru asked looking between the three of us and stopping at Raven.

"I'm fine." She sniffed rubbing her eyes. I think she needed a lot of sleep.

"Do you want some medicine?" He asked concerned.

"I'm fine." She mumbled before walking into a room. I bit my lip and decided I should go after her.

"Sorry. Thank you both, but I'm going to talk with Raven. Kind of a difficult day..." I explained quickly trailing off before following her into the room.

"Raven, What can I do to help you?" I asked as I continued biting my lip. Was I thankful I hadn't been taken by my father? Yeah, but at what does it cost for my safety? My sister has to be in danger for me to be safe?

"I'm alright Skye." I heard her muffled voice from the bed. She was lying face down and shaking a little bit.

I walked carefully over to her, slipped my shoes off, and sat on the bed beside her.
