{19} Time Can Tell

Skye's POV

I sat on my bed, unpacking a bag I had brought for the night when I heard a knock at the door. It must be Raven, although that was really fast for getting a water. Maybe the kitchen was closer than I imagined.

"Come in." I called returning back to unpacking. The door opened and was slammed closed a minute later. I jumped at the sound and turned around quickly.

"Rave-" I started until I realized the girl at the door wasn't Raven. Instead it was Ami. She had a smile on her face and stepped closer.

"Sorry about that." She apologized although I couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic.

"Skye right? I heard about the incident with your sister. Is she alright?" She asked this time a bit more sincere. I nodded and turned to face her completely.

"Really?" She said with disbelief in her voice. "Too bad." She scoffed quietly before I could answer.

"Wha-"

"You see Skye, once I heard about the incident, I knew pretty well what had happened. Obviously you knew your sister couldn't swim, but decided to make her swim anyways correct?" Ami interrupted and jumped to a conclusion. I didn't make her swim. Did I? But what if she misunderstood?

"No I told her-"

"You told her you wanted to swim, and thought she wouldn't follow you? Of course you knew she would follow you. She's always so worried about you, So why not this time?" She concluded pushing the hair out of her face. I did do that...But-

"And you even left her. Oh and I know your little secret. Unless you want me to tell everyone, stay away from those twins. Also, don't tell anyone about this encounter." She threatened and I unconsciously brought my hand to my stomach. We had more than one secret though...It could be anything. And what did the twins have to do with any of this? 

The door opened a second time and I managed to see it was Raven. Ami left the room and Raven took her spot on the bed quickly. She set the water bottle off to the side and scooted closer to me.

"Did she do anything?" She asked immediately. I remembered Ami's threat and managed to open my mouth in attempt to talk.

"I-I'm alri-"I Started before I broke down. I tried taking deep breaths, but that didn't work so I eneded up laying my head in Raven's lap. She started to stroke my hair to comfort me and I felt tears prick my eyes. I didn't deserve her. Raven always helped me, and what did I ever really do for her besides make her hurt? I felt my eyes begin to close and the world around me quiet until I fell into a deep slumber. Nii-Chan... I'm sorry.

Raven's POV -Couple day's later-

I took a deep breath and sighed. Skye talks even less now than before. Which is like barely even talking. She won't tell me about what happened with Ami, And the past few days she seemed depressed. I don't know what to do besides try to comfort her. I can't confront her or else she might break down again. Usually she's a lot more sturdy than this. So something had to happened. 

"Whatcha doing?"A voice asked from beside me. I glanced to the side and sighed slightly at my find. Of course.

"What do you want Kaoru? I'm trying to think here." I replied getting a exaggerated pout in return. I closed my eyes for a minute and thought how peaceful it would be without the entire host club. I've changed my mind. They're still a bunch of idiots, Especially the twins.

"What's wrong?" He asked more concerned. I crossed my left leg over my right and leaned back into the chair. We we're in Music room three right now, Although I have no idea where everyone went. All I know is that Haruhi is with Skye.
