Skye's POV

I bit my lip as I moved the pencil across my paper, finishing up the last sentence for our Langue Arts homework. A love story with many lies. That was the prompt and so I followed it. The ending wasn't the best though. I never decided if the two should end up together. Lies weren't good in a relationship; Then again if you have a good reason to lie, You can't really help but to lie.

"What's up Skye?" Raven asked plopping down in the seat beside mine. We were sitting in the kitchen where we had a couple of chairs pulled up to the counter.

"I was just finishing up my homework." I answered plainly. She sighed before opening up a can of soda and taking a long sip of it.

"Ah." She said shifting her gaze over towards the right.

"Nii-Chan! Did you do your homework?" I asked with a slight whine.

"You want a soda?" She asked changing the subject.

"No!" I cried. "I just want you to do well in school! We're not exactly for sure even able to stay in this school unless you get better grades." I said with a slight humph.

"Well sorry I can't be as smart as you." She rolled her eyes.

"You are smart-You just don't try enough." I snapped back slightly.

"Yeah well that's because even if I do try, Nothing good will ever happen!" She snapped standing up and accidentally knocking over her chair in the process. I narrowed my eyes before snapping my notebook close and storming out to my room.

To think we would get in a fight over weather Raven would do her homework sounds crazy, but what I said was true!

It's kind of confusing. We talked to a lady and told her the brim of what had happened. We basically just told her our father was mean and that he would find us if we went to a different school; Its pretty much the truth. She said that we could attend school if we both passed and one of us had all A's. Weird. But it's only what she said.

I jumped on my bed and did a belly flop. I plan to lay here for the rest of the night to be honest. Or I planned to until the phone rang. I sighed and sat up to get my phone and clicked the green answer key.

"Hello? This is Skye." I said mechanically.

"Yeah? It's Hikaru and Kaoru." The voice replied, although through the phone I couldn't tell who it was that was talking.

"Oh. What is it you need?" I said slightly harsher than intended. I suppose the fight got to me. I bit my lip as whoever it was hesitated.

"Okay-I was just seeing if you were still thinking about coming over." One of the twins proceeded as I narrowed my eyes. I have no clue what they were talking about.

"What?" I asked completely confused.

"Yesterday Kaoru talked to Raven about coming over to dinner to meet mom. I don't really know why so don't ask me." The voice must have been Hikaru. So going over to dinner. Why would we need to do that? I guess we should meet there mom... But we're not great friends. We're friends, Yes, but I mean it's not like we're-

"Hello?" Hikaru asked, his voice impatient.

"Oh, Sorry. Raven never told me about this... I guess you could-" I was about to say call her when the door slammed open.

Ravens POV

I rolled my eyes as I stood up from my bed. I have to apologize to her. I always let my emotions take control. Well anger at least.
