{35} Halloween with those twins

Raven's POV

"Next thing on the agenda. Now it's time to talk about plans for tonight." Kazukiyo said looking at his clipboard.

"What's tonight got to do with anything?" I asked tapping my pencil on the desk. We had come back to school, and apparently everyone was excited about some sort of class event.

"Halloween of course!" The twins said grinning. I rolled my eyes and turned to face Skye. We hadn't really done much for Halloween in a long time.

"Why is that such a big deal?" I asked looking around the class.

"We're allowed to have a few days off after our fall exams until the end of October, and we get to throw costume parties to celebrate!" A girl with brown hair explained as she erased something off the chalkboard. I think she was the classes co-president or something like that.

"That sound's interesting." Skye mumbled as she sketched something on a piece of paper.

"Absolutely not! That is boring. boring boring! What our classes Halloween requires is something special!" A girl popped up who looked like she was dressed up a little early. "So I propose, holding a Halloween test of courage tournament! The bravest student wins!"

Cheers flew from the class as the class rep tried to calm everyone down.

"Well if there's not anyone who objects....Anyone at all?" He asked fumbling with his papers. I rolled my eyes once again and scooted towards Skye.

"I'm on Skye's team!" I announced to the class just in case.

"And were on their team!" The twins announced cheerfully. A couple of girls whined but the twins seemed to have fun with it.

"No way." I hissed.

"Mhm. Well it just makes sense the four of us are on a team!" Kaoru explained as we were sets of twins.

"Well-" I started but Haruhi interrupted.

"I think that's a great idea. Besides, it's only for tonight!" She said carelessly to my disapproval.

"Nii-Chan. Would you rather be on a team we don't know?" She asked quietly. I couldn't really argue, because at least the twins we're aware of what we were like and stuff.

"Fine." I huffed as everyone else in the room went to choose their teams.

Everyone began to make ideas and we hadn't gotten very far yet.

"Let's have scary masks!" A girl added to their group plan excitedly. Haruhi had ended up in a group with the class rep and two girls I didn't know.

"Let's start planning." Skye smiled sitting down at a desk and getting a piece of paper to write notes on or something.

"How about we have fake guts to throw at people." Hikaru smiled evilly and I cringed.

"God no." I hissed at the boy who thought it was the best idea in the world. He was wrong.

"Let's do scary things, not gory." Skye frowned. "It'll be a lot less to clean up." She added to convince them.

Kaoru nodded.

"Alright then. Any ideas group?"

Time skip: That night

I kneeled down beside the staircase, but far enough back so that if a group came downstairs I wouldn't be visible.

Pumpkins hung from ceilings and lampposts that had faces carved into them and candles flickering inside.

I was kneeling beside the staircase with our item which ended up being a bag of fake spiders. Not my greatest idea, but it was one we could mostly all agree on.
