Kaoru's POV

"Don't! She can't-" Skye shouted at us and I felt guilt hit me. What if she had her phone or something? That's a dumb move;taking your phone out in the ocean. But she was in a rush. It might've been something else though. She had said she got headaches in water. What if they were really bad? She not get to swim again on the trip.

But it was too late. She was already flipped over. Hikaru let out a grin of victory. We had planned to make Raven come swimming. I expected her to pop up out of the water, cussing and shouting at us. But she didn't.

"She can't swim!!" Skye shouted from about 15 feet away. The words registered in my mind and I dove into the water while Hikaru processed the statement. Skye was closer now, but she wouldn't get here in time.

I opened my eyes, despite how much the salt water burned them. I needed just a glimpse of her. Just a glimpse of hope for her. I she drowned, It would be my fault.

Raven was really rude and possessive-ish. Over Skye. But that's the thing. It's just Skye. If Skye wasn't her sister, Raven might be nicer. I'm not blaming Skye, it's just that after she trusts us (if she ever does) I'm sure we'll find that kind Raven. Eventually. But right now, all I could do was keep swimming deeper into the darkness. I saw a line of what seemed to be white hair and began swimming quicker to it. A group of bubbles let out from around that area, and as I got closer, details of Ravens face filed out. Her hair flowed around her head in the water, Making her almost look peaceful. But I knew, It must be terrible to drown, And I didn't know how much longer she would last.

I reached my arm out and grabbed her hand, Pulling her towards my chest. Her body was limp, and her heart beat was faint. I had to hurry.

I began to kick my feet as the light came closer. Rushing to the surface was easier than swimming down. It was much quicker. But as I swam up, I realized I couldn't last much longer either. I began to furiously kick my feet, The light getting brighter.

Finally I reached the surface, Coughing madly, And pulled Raven up above the water. Raven began to cough up water, and then just cough, but her eyes didn't open. Skye was't here and neither was Hikaru. The two guys Skye and Raven were with were here though. They both let out a hesitant sigh of relief before swimming over.

"Are you two alright?" The one with light brown hair asked. I hesitated before nodding slowly.

"I hope so." I muttered, barely audible, still catching my breath. "Where's Skye and Hikaru?" I asked afterwards, this time louder. Of course, I had to get Raven to the beach, but I also had to worry about my brother. And I know if Raven was conscious, her first thing would be "Where's Skye?"

"They went to the shore because Skye was freaking out. We were scared she was going to faint or something, so Hikaru... Escorted her back to shore and told us to wait for you two." The Same guy said after thinking about the right words. My guess is that Hikaru was probably being stubborn at the time.

I nodded in reply to his explanation, and told them my plan.

"I'm going to go and bring her back to shore. The sooner the better." I sighed. I was tired, but this was not the right time to get selfish. The two nodded and began to swim back themselves, me following behind.

As I swam I made sure to keep Ravens head above water. She was top priority right now. She was breathing now, but it was faint and her pulse was also slow. This could be serious. What if she didn't wake up? What if she had brain damage? What if she had amnesia?

Focus I told myself furiously. Now was not the time to be thinking of worst possible situations. I just gotta stay positive.

That's hard to do though when you have a half-dead girl in your arms, who was maybe going to trust you, but now she never will. Damnit, We screwed up.
