{25} Loving Traces

Hikaru's POV

I sat beside my brother in class watching the sensei go on about something boring. I couldn't get what happened a couple day's ago out of my head. I scared her, But she looked more than scared. Maybe terrified. But why be terrified over someone touching your shoulder?

I'm thinking about maybe asking Kyoya. At the beginning of the year, He was going on about their past or something, And Kaoru said it might have something to do with that. They moved from America or something, Right? They had to move for some reason.

The bell dragged me out of my thoughts and everyone began to pack their bags. Talking erupted and a few girls walked over to me and Kaoru.

"S-So Hikaru and Kaoru, Would you walk with us to the Host Club?" A girl with brown pigtails asked looking down.

"Sorry, I wanted to walk alone with my brother today." I said wrapping an arm around Kaoru. The girls squeezed their palms together as their faces grew bright red.

"T-That's alright." The girl with brown pigtails squeaked out running to the door alongside her friends. Skye and Raven walked up at the same time, Raven letting out a dramatic 'Ha.'

"What?" Kaoru asked raising his eyebrows. I let go of him and grabbed my bag as well.

"You guy's do that even when you're not in the Host Club?" She asked raising her eyebrows as well.

"For our guests." Kaoru said shrugging and gathering together his things. The girls were some of our guests, but it honestly felt like more of an excuse to walk with Skye and Raven. But they were our guests. And it was mostly just for them.

"So, What are we doing today?" Raven asked with a sigh. We had begun walking out of the classroom now and so had everyone else. It was impossible to listen to only one conversation.

"Did you hear about the Winter dance?" A girl asked her friend to the left of me.

"Winter dance?"

"Yeah! I heard that the Host club was going to have some sort of festival or dance or something!" She squealed as they made a turn. Shifting my gaze, I found Taro and Hiro talking. It's not like I wanted to eavesdrop, but I couldn't help but listen.

"How's it going?"Taro asked, his voice less cheerful than usual.

"Fine. He hasn't set any new requirements yet." Hiro answered as we went up the stairs.

"Good." Hiro sighed in relief. I bet they were talking about a class assignment. It must have been a hard one. Maybe I would ask about it at the club today...

"Skye?" Raven called from beside me pulling me back to there conversation.

"Huh?" I asked looking up at the twins them back down at Raven.

"Well, What do you think?" Hikaru asked me crossing his arms. I felt my face heat up as I looked down.

"S-sorry! I zoned out there..." I admitted biting my lip.

Raven chuckled and Hikaru sighed. We were already at the doors of the magical music room three. We walked into Kyoya glaring at us.

"You need to start getting here earlier or were never going to be able to have another theme involving us to dress up." He hissed shifting his glasses up furiously. I guess today was a normal day.

"We're going to change." Raven announced dragging me to the 'Dressing room'.

I opened the curtain and walked into the space. I changed quickly into a blue shirt with the quote "Love never dies" on it and some white capris.
