Skye's POV

I woke up before anyone else the following morning. It was a nice home and all, but I was kind of ready to go. Sometimes I get a little homesick even if my whole family is with me.

"Haruhi..." I sang while nudging the sleeping girl. I wanted to ask her if it was alright to make breakfast before there was a knock at the door. I hesitated to answer it, but it was probably the mail or something.

"Hello?" I asked whilst owning the brown door. I raised my eyebrows when my eyes met with two red heads and not a mailman.

On glanced to the side and scratched his head gently while the other one just smiled.

"We just wanted to make sure everything was alright." Kaoru said, his smile not wavering.

"Why wouldn't it be?" I asked unsure. My thoughts traveled back to previous days, but I couldn't recall anything really bad happening. But I did remember I had to feed Yuki as my thoughts traveled. How could I forget something so important?

"Well Raven seemed startled when we talked to her yesterday." Kaoru mumbled. "Where is she anyways?"

"Sleeping." I replied

"Did you just wake up?" One of the two asked as I looked down. My hair was probably messy and I was still in pajamas. Yay.

"Yeah... Sorry." I mumbled as my face heated up. I glanced back in the room at Raven who was still peacefully sleeping with her arms spread out, making her resemble a starfish. I about looked away before she stirred over and tensed up ever so slightly. It must be a bad dream...

"Can you do me a favor and feed Yuki?" I asked looking up at the two with puppy dog eyes.

"Why? Aren't you leaving soon?" Hikaru asked raising an eyebrow.

"I forgot to feed him before we left and he's still a weak little baby and so he needs to be nourished properly and I'm afraid that if he doesn't get fed-" I continued on before Kaoru raised his hands and I came to a halt.

"Do you have an extra key?" He asked and I nodded fiercely. Me and Raven each had one. I'll lend him mine.

"Okay. We'll stop by on our way home." He answered. I smiled and did a slight bow.

"Thank you so much. I owe you." I said as the two turned to leave. I felt bad since they had come to check on us and in the end they just had to feed my kitten.

I closed the door after waving good bye and went to sit beside Raven. She stirred once again in her sleep as I sat down. I ran my hand across her forehead and down her hair hoping to sooth her and calm her down a little bit, but she just became more frightened. Her breathing became more frequent as she mumbled something.

Just as my hand went in to wake her, she shot up. She was out of breath and sweating, as well as her eyes were slightly red as if she had been rubbing them.

"Nii-Chan!? Are you okay?" I asked worriedly. She snapped back into reality as she looked at me. She placed her head in her hands and let out a long breath.

"Sorry." She muttered.

"Raven. If something's wrong, You can talk to me." I said quietly. She nodded like she knew this, but I know she carries so much on her shoulders and won't let anyone else help. I heard myself let out a soft sigh as I grew worried. Raven wouldn't tell me if something was wrong. Does that mean she doesn't trust me? Does she think of me as a burden? I know I'm troublesome but I never thought Raven-

"Skye what's wrong?" Raven asked sharply. I but lightly on my lip to keep from crying and shook my head.

"Nothing's wrong. I'm just worried about you. And I was wondering when we are suppose to be leaving... I forgot to feed Yuki." I mumbled.
