Raven's POV

(A/N - In the story it's not Christmas day yet. It's the last days of school before Christmas break for Ouran.)

I sighed once again as Skye yelled for me to wake up.

We were back home now from camping. The second day was just as bad as the first. Well, maybe even worse. It was cloudy and humid all day. We hiked the trail with spiders, rodents, and overall complaining from everyone, all for one of Kyoya's inspections. It turned out that his family was going to open a camp ground. Sound familiar?

Skye was upset about not being able to see stars because of how cloudy it was, but she didn't make a big fuss over it or whatever.

I never like waking up. It's generally the worse part of the day. Well, I like to wake up as much as the next person, but only after about twelve good hours of sleep. I can't just make myself go to sleep at seven, so it's hard to get twelve hours of joy.

Anyways, Although I never like to wake up on school days, today was especially bad. We had a couple of tests in some class, but that's just the beginning.

Today we had the Host Club meeting for preparing for the Christmas party which is tonight.  I like Christmas, but I didn't understand why we had to celebrate with so many people. Kyoya just holds this giant party to get money.

Snapping back into reality, I held onto the blanket tighter as Skye pulled to get it away.

"Nii-Chan! We're going to be late!" She cried as she pulled once more.

"But I don't want to go to school!"

"You have to." She said sternly. This was out of character for her, but understandable, because she hates to be late.

"Why?" I asked opening an eye.

"Because. We need a good education to have a good future and ensure that our children have good lives and-"

"I get it Skye." I interrupted her before she got to talking about her possible children's children. I sighed and sat up and Skye cheered as she finally won the blanket.

"Skye, if I told you that I wanted to quit the Host Club now, what would you say?" I asked after a minute. She was taken by surprise and had to take a moment to process this. Of course, I didn't actually want to leave. Well not really. Maybe.

"Why?" She finally asked with a frown.

"I don't want to yet, it's just that party sounds really stressful." I muttered. I stood up and took the ugly dress out from my closet and sat it on my bed and Skye walked to the door, smiling now.

"Don't worry! If you need anything, just tell me!" She grinned before leaving my room. Whenever I talk to Skye, she always knows what to say. Except for the fact that I don't want to put more work onto Skye, so I couldn't really take her advice.

I huffed as I got dressed real quick, brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, and headed out the door. Skye handed me a bagel to eat on the way to school, I grabbed my bag and we were out the door.

"Hey Nii-Chan?" Skye said after swallowing a bite of bagel.

"Yeah?" I asked through a mouth of food. She frowned at my immodesty but continued anyways.

"What was it your doing for the Christmas Party preparation?"

"I'm helping with decorations or something like that." I replied before popping the last bite of bagel into my mouth.

"Okay than. Did you study last night like I told you?" She asked with a hopeful smile.

"Of course." I said quick. Maybe too quick.  Of course I hadn't studied, but I don't want to crush her hopes!
