After Kai's little melt down early he chilled out. The guys were back to laughing and working. John and Reggie still curious as to what was going on in his head. He pretended like he was fine after but yet...it was definitely still floating in the back of his head.

"Hey guys you ready to just take a break for lunch now?" John poked back in. He was starved. Unlike Reggie and Kai he couldn't just work himself to death. He needed his lunch break badly.

"Yeah let me lock up." Kai started on it. Reggie cleaned up and grabbed his keys to his car. "I call shot gun!" John hollered. "John you're not getting shot gun I'm 6 inches taller than you." Kai talked back.

"Well I called it and you didn't." John stuck his tongue out as Kai began to follow them. "Hmm. We will see about that-"

All three men stopped walking when greeted with a familiar face and car in the driveway. Kai's heart was stuck in his throat. He did not expect to see her right now. Hell never again.

Both John and Reggie gave her an awkward wave before looking away. Adeline gave a wave back awkwardly. Her eyes only straying away from Kai for a second. Her gaze was telling him she was wanting to talk and she wasn't going to leave until they talked for a little bit.

"Hey guys could you get mine to go?" He asked while still looking at Adeline. Reggie and John nodded slowly before walking past them to the car still keeping an eye on the two of them. Kai nodded his head to inside the shop to Adeline and she followed him quietly. Her boldness was astounding even though she was extremely apprehensive on the inside.

Her heels clanked on the ground following Kai to the garage. Once they got there he said nothing and turned to face her.

"Hi Kai." Adeline stood front and center. Kai stared at her for a moment in disbelief that she was here. Kai hesitantly watched her go to the side and pull out her designated chair. He didn't stop her. He instead decided to stay at the wall he was leaned against and stare back at her.

"Do you have a uhh a car here today?" He scratched his head puzzled. Adeline shook her head no. Kai stroked his beard keeping eye contact with her. Her not having a car problem made him nervous but he kept a calm composure. "What is it then?"

Adeline raised a brow "What do you mean what is it?" She laughed a little. Kai stared blankly at her again. Adeline knew he was stubborn but goodness he had to be so difficult he would make this unbearable for her. How humiliating!

"Kai please don't be daft. We should probably chat yeah?" She let out a frustrated breath. Kai let out a breath of his own wanting the conversation to end before it even began. "Listen I won't tell anyone I promise what happened was a lapse of both of our judgement. I'm sorry for what I did and I won't hold it against you either." He brushed her off. Adeline's mouth hung slightly ajar but she gathered herself. "A lapse of judgement? First...Kai I kissed you. Second that's a pretty long lapse of judgement." She crossed her arms over her body.

Kai rubbed his temples and closed his eyes. This crazy woman was not going to just let bygones be bygones. He really needed her to just forget it. "Adeline let's be logical here. It was a lapse of judgement. You would not be caught dead kissing someone like me and I don't like celebrities."

Adeline narrowed her eyes at him stepping forward just a step. "What's wrong with celebrities?" She carefully watched his face go from serious to slightly more amused. This was the annoying little twit she was used to. Not the serious responsible and mature Kai he was pretending to be.

"You guys suck." He laughed a little also taking a step forward toward her as well. "And how about you? All you do is work and complain all day!" She stepped a little closer feeling her stomach flutter even though she was irritated with him.
