Adeline stretched and yawned looking out at the sunset that graced her face. Her afternoon nap after she and Kai's strenuous activities was longer than planned. It was almost time for bed.

But it was the perfect end to the perfect day. She didn't want to leave this paradise. It's been a good 7 days in Anna Marie Island of Florida.

Adeline and Kai quite literally hopped on the first plane they could. Left the pets with Otsi and quietly left the state of New York. Paparazzi and press were surely going to have a field day wondering after such a win where the hell she was. Those quiet thoughts about her leaving the ceremony were going to stir and people were going to get nosy.

But Adeline was ready to face the music if he was. She didn't want to hide him anymore. She was in love. And she shouldn't be afraid to be in love. She didn't feel ashamed to be to be in love with him. She was positive if anyone had felt even a fraction of the love Kai gave her that they would understand why he was worth more than anything she had.

Aside from the physical intimacy of their trip, which they indulged in frequently, Adeline and Kai found trails and underground activities to do. Kai even took her mini golfing again. And this time she won. They talked more about everything and how much they meant to each other. And are both certain they are in this for the long run.

They spent any time they could on the beach and went dancing one night. Adeline finally felt alive. Every day with Kai was better than the last. And finally being 100% in her relationship felt better than before they broke up. They connected deeper. And loved harder.

Her Florida home was much better than she bargained. It was a paradise. Whenever New York got too cold she was sure she was going to come down here and stay. She even was going to fence in her large back yard so Jane could run around.

She was so happy.

She loved feeling happy. It made her heart speed up, her chest warm, her smile wider. The feeling of love was like nothing she had ever experienced before. And being truly happy was the cherry on top.

"Mmmm." Kai sat up next to her and wrapped his arms around her torso. Adeline smiled and placed her hands on his arms. She leaned back and pecked his lips before looking back out at the palm trees and ocean. "I don't want to leave." She sighed. "I know." He mumbled against her shoulder as he kissed it. Adeline smiled tilting her head to the side allowing Kai to kiss there.

"I wish we could stay forever." She hummed. "We can come back. You just let me know when." He emphasized. Adeline giggled and leaned her head back against him. "I will. I need to get Jane and Poe a room." She thought. Kai laughed. "Those assholes don't need a room Adeline."

She gasped in offense. "Yes they do! They have one at yours they need one at mine too." She insisted. "You're going to spoil them." He argued. "How can you spoil an animal?" She pushed back.

"By babying them. I baby them enough already. You're going to make them rotten." Adeline rolled her eyes. "Well maybe they need a little more babying. Jane needs a woman around." She spoke with finality. "Jane licks her own ass I think she's fine."

"And she does that because she didn't have a mother to teach her how to be a lady." Adeline added back with some sass.

"God is this what co parenting feels like." Kai groaned. Adeline pinched his arm. "Get used to it."

Kai just grinned and squeezed her tighter against him. He loved watching her like this. She really looked happy and it made him fall even harder. To him Adeline was the most beautiful woman in the world. And it was kind of cool because she was actually thought of as one of the most beautiful women alive.
