This chapter is ridiculously long like omg idk what happens in it any more but lol enjoy 😂

The caked on makeup was uncomfortable to say the least. She was supposed to emulate a goddess for this shoot for Prada. Her hair was very sticky with spray and gel. She felt so disgusting but she had to prepare herself for the next shoot. She went about letting the artists remove it before applying the next look. She looked at the clock all morning. The time seemed to be ticking at an all time slowness. She just wanted to get to 6:30 pm.

"Adeline the white or the beige?" Her mother held up the dress options she had. Adeline thought and pointed at the beige. She didn't really care but she wanted her mother to be pleased and compliant today so she didn't look into Adeline's eagerness for the evening or invade her space tonight.

"I knew it the beige is beautiful on your skin." Her mother smiled. Adeline wished sometimes her mother would smile without work being the reason. She had a lovely smile. She missed when Amelie would sometimes be a mother when she was younger. There was so much she wished she and her mother had and she only just realized it.

"You've done amazing so far Adeline darling! One more shoot and then you can get a full evening of rest." Adeline wasn't sure about a full evening of rest. She had plans she was anticipating but she of course could not say that.

"Of course. Thank you for coming you were extremely helpful today." Adeline buttered her up. She could tell by the raised chin Amelie was eating this up. Adeline smirked to herself. She just had one more unfortunate comment to make to solidify her mother's confidence in her.

"I have been thinking about reaching out to Darian again for public appearance. Publicity stunt relationships are pretty popular." She mentioned. Her mother was nearly combusting. "I knew you were smart!" She squealed "I'll set it it up myself." Adeline gave a fake smile.

Amelie squeezed Adeline's hand with a grin. "Well Adeline you do that! I'll give you the evening to think of what to say and prepare." And with that Amelie happily went off to tend to other things. Adeline felt a sigh of relief.

The last person in the world she wanted to talk to was Darian Beckett but she had to make some sort of plan to appease her mother and keep Kai to herself. Adeline just went through the motions yawning as the minutes continued to tick off. She people watched for a minute while she got to rest before it was go time. She just needed to wait a few more hours.

Off in the distance something or some one caught her eye. Platinum blonde hair and a meek expression. Adeline noticed her as the makeup artist she yelled at during her Versace runway. The girl was quiet and stayed extremely far from her. She didn't have a brush or palate in her hands just some papers and a pencil. She was being passed by other artists. They either ignored her completely or told her things to write down.

Adeline felt a pang of guilt. It was strange to feel this way. She was convinced she was justified in her displeasure of her work. But as she thought about it. It wasn't worth giving her such a hard time to the point where her responsibilities were completely torn away from her.

Adeline sighed. She didn't want to do this but she needed to do this. She groaned in annoyance before tapping a different artists shoulder. "Excuse me. Bring her over here." The artist raised her brows.

"Tiffany?" Adeline shrugged. "If that's her name sure." The artist warily looked at the model before going to Tiffany who looked in her direction in terror. Adeline was both amused and a little bit more guilty at her fear.

Tiffany took hesitant steps toward her. Her chin length platinum blonde hair didn't even sway with how slow and hesitantly she was walking. She stopped in front of Adeline a few feet away.
