"And Cut!" The director called out happily. "Adeline that was amazing!" He praised her performance he could've hugged her she did so well but he refrained.

Adeline nodded in acknowledgement it was a good shot but she's been in her head for the past couple of days this film has not been anywhere on her mind. However her minor change of attitude  has made this whole filming not being anywhere even close to as bad as before.

Her co star even has had few complaints. Adeline was being slightly slightly slightly less annoying. So they all felt more at ease when the beautiful woman was around. Rather than running to the hills as they all used to do.

"So the set in NYC is still being worked on so we can reconvene there in 3 weeks." Her director informed her. She would remain at her manhattan house during that time. But three weeks was a long time for her to just stay in Plattsburgh with nothing to do.

Adeline just nodded again. She had no problem being in Plattsburgh she could find something to occupy her time. Her mother would be leaving for a week or two to be back in manhattan with her dad. She would probably just stay with him until Adeline came there too.

Adeline hoped she did. Her own birthday was coming up and her mother was fighting tooth and nail to plan some extravagant birthday party for her as usual but Adeline wasn't really as excited as she used to be. She kind of just wanted to see where the day took her. She was so caught up in her thoughts she didn't even notice her costar talking to her.

"So what do you say?" His blue eyes sparkling. Adeline's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "What?"

He laughed and messed with his hair Adeline thought was quite odd of him. "We are closing up the Syracuse shoot with drinks tonight. Are you coming?" Oh so he was trying to ask her to hangout with them. How funny.

Adeline nearly laughed as she turned away. "No I'm busy but enjoy." She was sure he was calling her obscene things as she left but Adeline didn't care. One good shoot didn't mean all of a sudden they were best friends.

She then retired back to her tent where the makeup artists were still scared to work on her. She sat and allowed them to work in peace while she continued to think. This time as they worked she had very few things to say. She mostly was checking messages.

Tonight she had dinner with Darian Becket. This would be a great marriage for her. She knew that. Her plans and her mother's plans have been orchestrating this to occur for months. And she's blown him off twice for no reason.

Adeline knew she just had to refocus. Eye on the prize. This marriage would make her look good. This sudden feeling of discomfort had to go. She had important things to do.

By the time they were done with her and she got placed back in her pencil skirt and blouse she grabbed her purse and head to where her driver waited for her. She was going to do what she had to do tonight.

Adeline would be set tonight and then Darian and she would make some sightings, then marriage, then she is thrust into fame and fortune beyond what she has ever seen.

Adeline deep deep down felt like she was coaching herself to be excited for this. She didn't understand her new stress and concern with her life plans. This has always been the plan.

She groaned ignoring everything and closing her eyes. It was going to be fine everything was going to be fine. Her life would be amazing her life would be fulfilling. She's good.

Sadly the more Adeline chanted those mantras to herself the less she believed them.
