Adeline had been running around all day per her mothers doing. It was meeting after meeting for her. None of them really important but still held to high importance to her mother. So Adeline entertained her so she could do whatever Kai wanted without resistance.

She had to admit she was getting better at working her relationship around her mother's schedule. And Kai was a good sport about it.

All morning she counted down the minutes and hours until her next date. Kai didn't give much dialogue about it. He just told her to wear swim wear. So she assumed swimming would be taking place at some point. Her staff once again dismissed early. She knew they were curious but no evidence of Kai has been noted in the house so a man being around wasn't a definitive. She liked it that way.

The shrill of her door bell echoed and Adeline made her way to the front to see Kai standing there in jeans and a T shirt. She opened it and was instantly greeted with a kiss. Adeline's eyes widened at the fast greeted and grinned pulling him back in for another. "Are you ever going to tell me our date plans before we get there?" She placed her hands on her hips.

Kai grabbed her hand pulling her outside. "Maybe one day. Don't lie and say you don't enjoy the surprise." She did enjoy the surprise. She enjoyed anticipating their dates all day wondering what Kai had next in store for them. She was enjoying dating, this was the first time she enjoyed dating. Kai had definitely done a number on her.

Adeline looked around for Kai's truck but didn't see it in the usual spot. Instead she saw his motorcycle. She furrowed her brows and turned back to him. "Um... what is this?" She asked. Kai grinned. "A motorcycle." He explained. "Obviously you dunce. Are we driving this?" She looked incredulously at him thinking of all the horrible things her mother told her about motor cycles.

"Yes Addy it's not a far drive." He hugged her. "I don't know about this." She eyed it wearily. "You took a shoot on one before for Harley jus think of it like that." He commented before he realized he put his foot in his mouth. Adeline looked at him in surprise. "You know my magazine covers now?" She quirked a brow. Kai cleared his throat ready to defend himself. "Everyone knows that one." He argued. Adeline smirked. "Hmmm I guess, but to remember it so effortlessly? What business do you have with my magazines?" Kai diverted the conversation back to getting her on the bike.

"Adeline come on this will be a new experience for you." Adeline was still amused by his comment but decided to hell with it. This would be once again something new for her. "We will revisit this conversation, but fine I will ride the death trap." Kai's face lit up. "Really?" Adeline crossed her arms and nodded.

"Alright..Ready?" Kai raised a taunting brow at her. Adeline had fierce determination on her face as she nodded saddling on the seat behind him. She wrapped her arms around him tightly and inhaled. She only had one life. "Don't kill me." Was all she said. Kai laughed with his head back giving her arm a gentle squeeze. "I won't."

Then they took off. Adeline was nearly squeezing the life out of Kai. She was terrified and they were going so fast. The wind was whipping against her skin. And she was going to have an awful bout of hat hair. But being in this moment doing something she never thought she would do... it was pretty amazing.

Kai seemed so relaxed in front of her. He just knew what he was doing and where he was going. Adeline was along for the ride. And she learned how to just enjoy being apart of the experience. She rested her head in his back and sighed feeling the cooling effect from the wind competing against the warmth of his body.

Sometimes she wished tomorrow didn't come. That she could just be satisfied with everything stuck in a single moment. And looking at Kai and being with him made her feel that way. Adeline has never felt more free in her life.
