Most people are upset when they forget what happened when they were drunk. Adeline Jones on a normal night would be furious at herself. But today Adeline was actually upset she still remembered three nights ago. She was acting like an absolute fool and interacted with her least favorite imbecile.

How he could even afford to go there was an anomaly its self. Adeline was mortified she was publically seen with people and models below her bracket. And her mother has been nagging about it Since she got back.

"Front page Adeline! Models gone rogue?" Amelie slammed the pages down. "Mother I just told you it was a PR stunt." Adeline had her shades on as she finished eating her pre lunch snack feeling her head ache of stress dissipate.

"You look trashy because you are seen with trashy models." Her mother shook her head. Adeline sighed pressing her fingers to her temples.

"Please tell me no one saw you doing anything stupid." Amelie stressed. Kai and her stationed next to each other briefly came to her mind, especially since she met with his friends. But she shook her head no to her mother.

"Mother as I said for the shoot this is what we needed. You have to accept that some things must be done no matter how much better I am." Adeline spoke gentler.

Truthfully the shoots over the next few days did go better. The models seemed to have an understanding now and things weren't as forced. But Adeline was still sure she was the best of them. Everyone knew it naturally.

Anastasia was asking many questions about Kai for some reason but Adeline ignored all of them effectively pissing the woman off. Regardless their shoot was stunning. However Amelie didn't care about that. She cared that Adeline was the best and the best didn't hang around people beneath them.

Amelia sighed and sat down folding her hands in her lap. "I don't want you on the same level as them. You're so obviously above them. Don't keep letting these brands and contracts put ideas in your head okay." Amelia gentle cupped Adeline's cheek. Adeline nodded and looked away.

"So your plans for the day. I was going to reach out to Darian today for lunch possibly. We can start talking about the potential of you two being noticed together." Amelie was so excited. Her daughter and billionaire. That was the life Adeline rightfully deserved. And she was owed it. Amelie and her worked hard to achieve it.

"How's dad?" Adeline asked interjected the constant discussion of her potential end game solution. She was thinking about her dad. She's been so busy she hasn't seen him a little bit. "You know Jamie. Black and bald." Funny enough Amelie loved it. As a black woman herself the bald look was something she preferred. She loved her husband though he didn't understand her and Adeline's vision.

Adeline actually cracked a tiny tiny smile a that. She was closer with her father but couldn't connect with him because he didn't like her modeling career or how her mother got her so invested and 'uppity' but she did love him and knew he loved them both though he often needed space from them.

"Anyways I'm gonna confirm with Darian-"

"I can't. I um.. have a car appointment." She mumbled grabbing her purse. Amelie narrowed her eyes astonished. "For what? I thought it was fixed."

Adeline sighed. "My other car needs maintenance. They all probably do since I don't drive them often." She admitted.

"Whats the point you have a driver?" Amelia scoffed. Very true. But Adeline had a reputation to up hold. This would be her last car problem she swore it.
