Travis's POV: "Hey Katie! Are you hungry? We could get something to eat." I asked her. I was driving, Katie was next to me in the shot gun seat, and Connor sat in the back with her suitcase, asleep. "Hm? What? Oh, um, I guess I'm kinda hungry. I'll pay for my food though. I have money." She said. "No, you're kinda our guest since this is our own car that we are using. So we'll pay. Where do you wanna go eat?" I asked her. "Mc Donalds. Nico got me hooked up on it." She said. "Are you and Nico dating?" I asked, a weird feeling happening in my gut. "No, he's like a brother. Or a best friend you can count on. We're not dating. Plus, he's gay." She said. "Oh." I said. I pulled up in a Mc Donalds and woke up Connor. We got inside and waited in line. Then, a song came on. Close to the ending, I think, Connor spoke up. "Hey, I know this song!" He said.

Sugar
Yes, please
Won't you come and put it down on me?
I'm right here, 'cause I need
Little love, a little sympathy
Yeah, you show me good loving
Make it alright
Need a little sweetness in my life

Your sugar! (sugar!)
Yes, please (yes, please)
Won't you come and put it down on me?
(down on me, down on me)

After the song ended, we ordered. I got a number 6, Katie got a salad, and Connor got the 10 Chicken McNuggets thingy. After we ate, we got back in the car and drove to camp again.

Katie's POV: In the car, I got back in the same seat as before and got my iDemigod phone out. I put in my earbuds and put my playlist of Little Mix songs on shuffle. My favorite song came on. I decided to sing along to it quietly. Boy was I NOT quiet.

Pretend It's Ok By: Little Mix

What would you do?
What would you say?
How does it feel?
Pretend it's okay
My eyes deceive me, but it's still the same.
Pretend it's okay

I remember the day when
We were out all night
I wish I could bring the day back
And tell you it's alright
'Cause we all do the same thing,
We just don't realize
That we're living on borrowed time

What would you do?
What would you say?
How does it feel?
Pretend it's okay
My eyes deceive me, but it's still the same.
Pretend it's okay

I see the light that I'm chasing
A memory, but it's fading
And when it's gone I'll be waiting
Knowing it's too late (knowing it's too late)
You chose the rode that I'm walking
Now it's your soul that I'm caught it
And you're not hearing when I'm calling
Calling your name

One breath, one step,
One life, one heart
Two words, two eyes,
New beggining, new start
Too deep, too narrow,
Too short, too wide,
I'm better with you, here by my side

What would you do?
What would you say?
How does it feel?
Pretend it's okay
My eyes deceive me, but it's still the same.
Pretend it's okay

Nothing here, no one talking,
Knowing it's too late
But sometimes it can get so hard Pretending it's okay
Nothing here, no one talking,
Nothing's gonna change
But sometimes it can get so hard
Pretending it's okay

What would you do? (what would you do?)
What would you say? (what would you say?)
How does it feel?
Pretend it's okay
My eyes deceive me, but it's still the same.
Pretend it's okay

What would you do? (what would you do?)
What would you say? (what would you say?)
How does it feel?
Pretend it's okay
My eyes deceive me, but it's still the same.
Pretend it's okay

Oh yeah
What would you do? What would you say?
Pretend it's okay
What would you do? What would you say?

After I finished singing the song, I heard claps. I opened my eyes and saw the Stoll brothers clapping. "You sing pretty good Katie-Kat! You should keep singing." Travis said. I started blushing. I almost wanted to pass out!

Travis's POV: "Katie, are you okay?" I asked her. "I'm fine." She said. "Alright, if you say so." I turned back to the road and kept driving.

Katie's POV: "Katie are you okay?" Travis asked me. "I'm fine." I said. "Alright, if you say so." He turned back to the road and kept driving. Oh Travis. If only you knew. I'm not fine at all. I just pretend. I pretend it's ok.
