Persephone meanwhile had been led to the taxi that was waiting and got in and sat in the backseat, her mother getting in the other side and sitting next to her.
Priscilla sighed. ‘Persephone, I’m very disappointed in you.’
‘Yet when Penelope’s akumatised, I still get in trouble?’ Persephone replies.
‘Because of what you told her!’ Priscilla replied.
‘Of course everything is my fault!’ Persephone scoffs. ‘You wouldn’t understand mother! You’ve probably never had your heart ripped out and stomped on like yesterday’s garbage!’
Priscilla sighs. ‘Of course I have sweetie! But what I did not do is destroy the happiness of others around me! You just pick yourself up and move on! There’s lots more fish in the sea!’
Persephone sniffs. ‘Nobody like him!’
‘Well regardless, you do not let your emotions get the better of you and try to destroy everyone else’s fun time!’ Priscilla replied. ‘You will still be punished!’
Persephone scowls. ‘So what else is new’ she says under her breath.
‘You wanna make it worse?’ Priscilla said.
‘No!’ Persephone replied, shaking her head.
‘Then no mumbling or talking back to me’ Priscilla replied. ‘No Alias ring for a month.’
‘Noooo, I just got it back!’ Persephone protested.
‘Too bad, too sad. Hand it over’ Priscilla says, holding out her hand as Persephone sighs and reluctantly takes it off and hands it to her Mom.

‘You’re grounded, no leaving the house without permission, no going to the mall, no pedicures, manicures, facials, anything’ Priscilla continues.
‘Yes mother’ Persephone replies.
‘And lastly, no laptop or computer, only for supervised homework use, no social media’ she concludes. ‘You’re lucky we’re still going to let you go to the end of school dance young lady, since that’s just after your one month punishment. But one more slip up and that’s off the cards. You hear me?
‘Yes mother, thank you mother ’ Persephone replies.
She sighs to herself as she looks out the window. What’s the point in going anyway if I can’t even go with my dream guy?
They reach home and get out of the taxi.
‘Go straight to your room’ Priscilla said. ‘Your father will have some words to say to you when he gets home! I already called ahead and asked our maid Stefanie to remove your laptop from your room.’
‘That’s where I was going anyway!’ Persephone replied, slamming the door behind her.
She went to her mini fridge freezer and took out a small punnet of Neapolitan ice-cream.
