7:20am, Saturday morning, Tom and Celeste are baking bread in the bakery kitchen, as in the background a news broadcast from Paris plays on a small portable television.
On the broadcast, Andre is handing out ice cream to customers near the Eiffel Tower.
Nadja: “It's the first day of summer break in Paris.”
Election posters for the two candidates, Caline Bustier and Armand D'Argencourt are displayed by the stairs of DuPont school, as Ivan and Mylene are shown, who then high five each other after putting up a poster for Caline Bustier for Mayor.
Nadja: “Classes are barely over and the campaign for the mayoral election has already begun.”
Caline hands out campaign flyers to Parisians with the help of Gisèle, Mylene and Ivan who join them.
Nadja: “Tourists have already started arriving from all around the world to savour a taste of Paris, taking advantage of the good weather and making great memories in the company of family and friends.”
Customers are starting to line up in front of Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie. In another shot, many people are shown spending time in a park.
Nadja: “And everyone is excited about Pitbull coming to Paris towards the end of summer kicking off his European tour: Pitbull Mania.”
People are seen putting up posters with the dates of the concerts, including Summer and Cassandra who squeal excitedly.
Nadja: “Good weather also prevails in London, where Adrien Agreste and Kagami Tsurugi arrived yesterday. According to a statement from the Gabriel brand, the couple will be pursuing their successful modelling careers there.”
Photos of Adrien and Kagami leaving their private jets, surrounded by reporters and adoring fans are shown, as Tom hums. ‘I didn’t think Adrien wanted to do modelling anymore’ he said sadly.
Nadja: “A story by our correspondent in the UK right after this message.”

‘But you do have to admit, they make a cute couple!’ Celeste replies. ‘It’s such a shame they had to move to London though. And before their end of school dance tonight. Which reminds me, as soon as Rolland gets here, I need to make a start on the desserts for tonight!’
‘Ahh yes!’ Tom smiled. ‘I hope my daughter is tipping you handsomely!’
‘She is!’ Celeste smiled. ‘And Angela told me she’s working on an idea for drinks. When she heard about the dance, she wanted to practise her drink making skills. She asked Marinette if she could a couple of weeks ago and since there was a little left over in her budget, she agreed.
