Back under the bridge, Luka and Marinette are still hugging when Luka has another nightmare. A different nightmare too.
In Luka’s nightmare, it started out really well, Luka was Viperion again and was helping Ladybug and Cat Noir on a patrol.
‘Okay, I’ll take the north side, Rena Rouge and Carapace are taking the south side, you two can decide whether you want to take the East or West side’ Ladybug smiles as she vaults away.
‘You want to take the East or West side?’ Viperion asked Cat Noir.
‘I would rather you chose for me Master!’ Cat Noir smiled at him.
Viperion is taken aback. ‘W-why are you calling me that?’ he asks in shock.
‘Because you are my master’ Cat Noir says with a deadpan expression as he points to Viperion’s hand as he looks at it as he sees he’s wearing one of the twin rings.
‘Arrrgh!’ Viperion cries out as he takes it off in his dream but also takes off his heirloom ring in real life as Marinette tries to calm him down.
‘Woah, you threw that ring away like a hot potato, what happened?’ she asked him with concern.
‘Oh...my heirloom ring, where did it go? If I lose that my Mom and Gramps would kill me!’ he gasped as he walked over to where it was thrown. Marinette used the torch feature on her phone to help him look.
‘There!’ she said as she saw something glistening.
Luka sighed with relief. ‘Thanks melody. Oh, thank goodness...’ he said as he put it back on his finger.
‘Another nightmare?’ Marinette asked as he nodded. He couldn’t give too much away so he changed it slightly.
‘In my nightmare we were discussing about where to go as a friend group. Then Adrien and I were left and I asked him what he wanted to do and he looked me dead in the eyes and said he would rather have his master choose for him. I asked why he would call me that and he replied that I WAS his master and pointed to my finger as I was wearing one of the rings to control him. That’s why I removed it in such a panic...’
‘Oh Luka...’ Marinette sighed as she hugged him. ‘I don’t know what to do about that. I guess I should talk to Gabriel as Ladybug, like Felix and Kagami suggested.

‘What?! Not by yourself, surely!’ Luka replied as his phone beeped with a message.
‘Oh, Mom wants me to buy some headache tablets while I’m out as she’s still having the headaches from the nightmares’ Luka sighed.
Marinette’s phone beeped with a message too.
Tom: ‘Hi sweetie, mind bringing some pain killers on your way back home? The bakery started out busy but now it is pretty quiet so I’ve decided to close early today so I sent Celeste, Angela and your grandpa home. Everyone seems plagued by these headaches from the nightmares we all had last night. I think that's what's driving away customers too.”
