Meanwhile, back at the bakery, Marinette put down her spoon.
‘All done with breakfast Dad! See?’ Marinette smiled as Tom nodded.
‘Well done my girl! Tom replied. ‘What’s on the agenda today?’
‘Well, I’m about to take my dress to the dry cleaners to pick up later for the DuPont dance’ Marinette replied.
‘Oh yes, how was the performing arts school dance?’ Sabine asked.
‘Lots of fun!’ Marinette smiled as she got a sudden headache. ‘Ahh!’

‘Everything okay, Marinette?’ Tom asked.
‘Y-yeah, fine, just fine!’ Marinette replied. ‘Just have a slight headache. Probably from my disturbed sleep last night. Might have a nap later before tonight’s dance to catch up!’ she grinned.
‘Good call sweetie!’ Sabine smiled.
Marinette went back to her room and grabbed her dress off the mirror, wincing in pain as she put it in a dress bag.
‘What’s happening?’ Tikki asked.
‘It’s like that nightmare won’t get out of my head, Tikki. I think I need to go for a walk, see my friends! That should cheer me up!’ Marinette smiled as she went back downstairs and said goodbye to her parents and Rolland, Celeste and Angela in the bakery as she went out onto the street.
As Marinette walks outside, she bumps into Alya and drops her dress bag.

Alya gasps. ‘Sorry Marinette!’ she said as she helped her pick it up. ‘I've gotta hide at your place! Monarch is about to find me and I'm terrified I'm gonna blab your– secret identity!’ Alya whispers as she holds her head. ‘Oh no, it'll be even worse if I hide at your place!’ She grabs her head again and falls down on the ground in pain.
‘Are you okay, Alya?’ Marinette asks, concerned.
Alya grimaces. ‘Yeah, it's just that... we can't be seen together!’ Alya runs off.
