Meanwhile, back at the Truman Manor, at 10:30, Ashleigh was brushing her hair as the doorbell rang.

Ashleigh gasped. ‘That must be Travis! How do I look? Does my hair look okay? Do I have anything in my teeth?’

Penelope smiled. ‘You look perfect Ash! Don’t worry!’

‘Okay...’ Ashleigh replied as she took a deep breath and let it out slowly. ‘Well, here goes!’

She opened the door and met Travis’s shimmering brown eyes as he smiled at her. ‘Wow, Ash...you look incredible!’ he exclaimed. ‘I feel a little, underdressed...’ he said, looking embarrassed in his striped polo shirt and jeans.

‘Please don’t!’ Ashleigh replied, putting her hand on his. ‘You look perfect just the way you are...’

Travis blushed and smiled. ‘Thanks Ash...oh, this is for you.’

He gave her a purple rose. ‘Oh Travis! That’s so sweet! I’ll find a vase to put it in!’ she said as she grabbed one on the side table by the door and put the rose in it.

Howard came out of his office to see who was at the door.

‘Well, Persephone’s using my laptop to do her school assignment while I make some phone calls- oh, hello!’ he says, seeing Travis. ‘I don’t believe we’ve met before!’

‘This is my boyfriend, Travis’ Ashleigh smiled, putting the vase back on the side table.

‘Nice to meet you Travis’ Howard smiled, shaking his hand.

‘Nice to meet you too Mr Truman!’ Travis smiled.

‘And where are you taking my lovely daughter this fine morning?’ Howard replied.

‘We’re going for ice-cream daddy’ Ashleigh replied.

‘Oh well, it’s a nice sunny day for it! Enjoy you two-‘ he said as his Alias ring starts to ring.

‘Oh excuse me, I have to take this! You kids have fun! Darren! Yes, yes, you got that paperwork I emailed you?’ he said as he walked back towards his office.

‘Shall we go, gorgeous girl?’ Travis smiled as he held out his hand as Ashleigh took it.

‘Yes! Let’s get out of here!’ Ashleigh replied as Penelope waved them off.

‘Have fun!’ Penelope called out as Ashleigh waved back.

Back at the Dupain-Cheng residence, it wasn’t long before it was almost 11am and the baby furniture was finished.

‘Thanks for your help you two!’ Tom smiled. ‘Now we just need to get these downstairs to our bedroom.’

‘No problem Dad!’ Marinette smiled as she picked up the bookcase herself as it was fairly light.
