Chapter 18 - A Few Goodbyes

Ok, so I'm going to warn you now that this is a short chapter. It's just kind of a filler. Sorryyyy! Anywayssss, enjoy!

Ari is now allowed to do basically anything she feels like doing. I keep thinking about what Jack said. I always had a feeling that he felt that way, but there's just something about hearing it out loud. I already knew Ari felt the same way, I'm just waiting for them to tell each other. It's both exciting and difficult, though, being the one in the middle of the situation.

Anyways, a few people are due for departure today. Brittany's mom came back from her business trip early and wanted to do a few college tours with her daughter. We put up a fight and tried to get her to let her stay for the rest of the trip, but it didn't work. Also, from the start, Ava couldn't stay the whole time because of her summer job. Brittany's mom found it convenient to just come and pick up the two of them today.

We said our goodbyes, and Harry and Niall even cried a little. Although, if you ask them, they'll deny it. They refuse to accept that they are anything but big, tough, fearless, musclemen. They can believe anything they want I guess.

On a brighter note, Hannah got permission to stay longer than her original plan. She gets to stay for the rest of the summer with the guys. Of course, we have to leave after the end of our five weeks, but I'm sure we can come visit since they'll still be in the states.

As for Jack, his dad is allowing him to stay with us for the rest of the trip, so long as he still works on weekends. That was the highlight to Ari's day. My phone vibrates.

From: Brittany

Message: Heyyyy! My mom booked a site on one of the beaches on Long Island and invited all of next years' graduating class for a midsummer reunion! She felt bad about making me leave you guys early! So anyways, it's a few days after you come back.

From: Me

Message: OWJSNBVWEIOHBVWIEOVBIOWHEWD BWIEHDBE THAT'S FANTASTIC!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! See ya in a few weeks!

I tell the others about the news, and they're equally excited. Well, not so much on the guys' behalf.

"You're leaving in a few weeks?" Liam asks with big eyes.

"Well, yeah. We can't stay all summer unfortunately. But hey, what's something you've wanted to do that you haven't yet?" I say.

"I've kind of wanted to go fishing." He says. Fishing isn't really my thing. Correction, I don't fish AT ALL. But to cheer him up, I agree to do it anyways.
