All week Liam's had stuff to do for the upcoming tour. I mean, I understand what he has to do and all, but I miss him. The last four days, he hasn't even been at the cabin. Don't get me wrong, I love hanging out with my best friends and my brother, but I need Liam. I haven't even talked to him at all because his phone died or something. I decide to shoot him a quick text anyways to see if he happened to charge it at all. I wait a few minutes. Nothing. I brush it off. I'm sure he's just busy.

Today the girls and I are going swimming. It's fairly early in the morning so I start off by putting together some food. There aren't any adults in charge of what I'm making, so I start off with Nutella sandwiches. I make enough for three for each of us, knowing some will want more and others won't want any. Next I put together a Greek fruit salad and grab a baguette for Cristina.

"I smell food. What of it can I eat?" Said Hannah who apparently got up early too because she came storming through the door without knocking and grabbed a fork to eat my food.

"You can't have any of it." She puts down the fork and grabs one of the sandwiches. "Any of it!" She puts it down.

"Fine."

"So we're going to the pool. You're coming." I say.

"And what if I don't want to?"

"I don't care. You're coming anyways."

"Seems legit." She shrugs. I already know she wants to come anyways.

"So what's up with Liam?"

"What do you mean?"

"I haven't talked to him in like four days."

"Really? He's been really busy and not around much but he's come back a few times since then."

"What? How come he didn't say anything to me?" I was literally about to cry.

"I don't think you were here when he stopped by."

"I haven't left."

"Oh."

"Here, can you put together some more food while I get the others up and get ready?"

"Sure."

I didn't get the others for a good half hour. I went up to my room and cried. Why hasn't he made any effort to contact me? It's not like I'm hard to find. Maybe I should have gone with him. Am I even allowed to do that? One thing I know for sure is that next time I'll at least try. I grab my phone to check for any messages from Liam. None. I go into the bathroom to try and shrug it off. I'm sure it's nothing, but I'm not even sure what to think. I splash water on my face and pull myself together so I can get the others up. I go to get Cristina first.

"Get up! I made plans for us all today!" I say.

"Ew. Effort."

"Get up lazy butt."

"No." I go sit in the chair by her bed.

"I'm just going to sit here making creepy noises until you get up."

"Ugh. Fine, I'm up." Still being depressed, I managed to give a half smile. "Woah. Are you okay? Your eyes are bloodshot and your cheeks are flushed!"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I say, hoping she'll believe it.

"Yeah. I doubt that. Spill." I tell her everything that I know. "Oh. Hm. Try texting him from Hannah's phone."

"Wow, I didn't think of that. That's actually a pretty good idea." She grins with self pleasure. I go to grab Hannah's phone, waking up everyone else first.

"Hey Hannah, can I see your phone?" She nods and hands it to me.

Hannah: Hey how's it going?

I was kind of hoping he wouldn't text back, for my own sake, but sure enough, he did.

Liam: Hey Hannah

Hannah: do u have some spare time?

Liam: yeah sure, what's upppp?

Hannah: It's Anna, why won't you text me back?

No answer. I wait a few minutes to see if he's going to answer. Maybe he's typing a lot. After fifteen minutes there's still no answer. That put me over the edge. I give Hannah her phone back and run back upstairs. After a few minutes of bawling my eyes out I try to text Niall.

From: Me

Message: Heyyyyy

From: Niall

Message: hey! What's up?

From: Me

Message: Do you know what's going on with Liam?

From: Niall

Message: I honestly don't have the slightest clue. He's been actin all weird n hasn't really talked to me lately. Did I do somethin?

From: Me

Message: not that I know of...he's been avoiding me too. I just don't get it.

From: Niall

Message: don't worry I'll try and get to the bottom of it

From: Me

Message: thank you <3

Okay so I'm not the only one, but what did Niall do? One does not simple avoid Niall. It can't be done. Someone knocks on the door.

"Come in." Blake walks in. I actually forgot he was even here. I guess I'm really good at pretending he doesn't exist.

"Are you okay? It sounded like you were crying."

"Not to be mean, but you're actually the last person I want to talk to right now."

"Alright, alright." He slips back out the door. Wow. I'm actually impressed. He's learning! I go downstairs to find that everyone else is ready to go. How long was I up there?!

At the pool, I really didn't even feel like swimming at that point, so I just sat and tanned. Emma and Ari did too. I'm sure they sensed something wrong, but they can tell when I'm not in the mood to talk. I grab a few Nutella sandwiches and continue eating them for the next couple of hours. All I could think about was that Niall and I need to figure out what's going on.
