*Anna's POV*

I pack the remainder of my things to bring down to the car. I'm getting kind of homesick, but I'm nervous to get home and don't want to leave all this. I'm afraid that my parents won't approve of Liam, even though he's all anyone could ever ask for. I haven't had that many boyfriends and those that I have had, didn't get along with at least one, if not both of my parents. My second boyfriend, Callum, was probably the worst. He was funny and nice and all, but when I brought him home for the first time, anytime either of my parents would throw in an opinion or anything, Callum would refute and go into full on rant mode, interrupting whatever they were saying. I noticed he would do it to me every once in a while too, but not nearly as obnoxious.

One at a time, I drag each of my bags out to the car. I finish earlier than every one else so I go and sit out on the dock like I did that first night. The memories of that night flood my mind. So much has happened since then. Lost in thought, I don't notice when Liam sneaks up behind me.

"Morning, love," he says, and I jump.

"Dear lord, you scared me! But good morning," I say, adding a bright smile. He sits down next to me and scoots in close enough that I can put my head on his shoulder.

"Are you all ready to go?" Liam asks me.

"Yeah, I guess. Have you ever been to New York?"

"A couple of times. Of course, I didn't get to do too much sight seeing."

"No worries, I'll show you everything there is to see."

We're shortly interrupted by Evan telling us to double check and make sure we're not forgetting anything. I look around the cabin and don't see anything of mine. It looks exactly the same as it was the first day.

Soon enough, everyone's loaded into each of the cars and we start to pull away. I'm going to miss this place. Hopefully I can come back at least once more this summer since the boys will still have their cabin.

Several hours later we roll into my driveway. Both of my parents and Brittany are waiting outside for our arrival. I quickly turn off the engine and run up to my dad, who I haven't seen in months.

"Dad!" I say as I attack him with a bear hug. He smiles and hugs me back.

"Missed you too, honey. Did you have fun on your trip?" He asks.

"Yes! It was so much fun...oh! I made a few friends," I lead him over towards everyone.

"As I've heard! So which one is your boyfriend?" I blush like crazy, realizing I never actually told him I had a boyfriend and he probably heard it from mom. Liam raises his hand.

"That would be me! Pleasure to meet you," he says, shaking my dad's hand and sparing me from further awkwardness. To my surprise, dad smiles back at Liam.

"Please! Call me Alec." That has to be a good sign. I'm not sure what's making him so open minded about Liam, considering he never has been about anyone else before, but I'm not going to be one to complain. Mom and Brittany make their way over and I force them into a group hug.

"Anna!" Brittany coughs, "Stop choking me!"

"Sorry! I just missed you guys! Where's Ava?"

"She's at work. She gets off in an hour," she says, looking at her watch to make sure her timing is accurate.

"How was touring?" I ask but she just looks past me as if she didn't hear me. I look to see what's got her attention but I don't have to look too far. Harry. "Go ahead, I'll talk to you later." This time she actually hears me, gives me a small hug and makes her way towards Harry. After a few minutes we all go inside and the boys immediately spot the game room. Most everyone follows but my parents, who go into the living room.

"Anna!" My dad calls from the other room and I pop my head in. "Bring Liam." I go back and get him.

"Do they want Evan too?" He asks me, unsure of what's going on.

"Don't think so. Honestly I'm as confused as you are right now," I have ideas but none are confirmed. We go into the living room and my mom motions us to sit on the couch. Naturally, I sit next to Liam.

"So!" My dad starts, "Believe it or not, I have done my research." This scares me. "And I've come to the conclusion that you are a nice boy and I approve of you. If you give me any reason to think otherwise, I will become your personal nightmare."

It's a little weird that he actually did research, but all that matters is that he approves of Liam. I honestly have no clue what I would've done if he didn't like him.

"Thank you sir. I will take very good care of her. As long as I'm around, you never have to worry about anything bad happening to her," Liam says to my father.

"Like I said, call me Alec." My dad grins and him and Liam both get up to hug each other. I glance over at my mom who smiles and seems just as relieved as I am at the bond forming in front of our eyes.
