A Glitch In The Circus

Pomni and Ragatha stood in horror at the sight of the large creature they had found in Kaufmo's room. Its bulbous black form being littered with countless multicolored eyes as it stared them down, Jax having bailed on them after stealing a bowling ball that was presumably Kaufmo's (the jerk).

Ragatha: *nervous smile* Oh, Kaufmo's... Abstracted! That... that's okay.

Pomni: *horrified* What is that?

Ragatha: It... might be that terrible thing I was talking about earlier, when you reach your breaking point?!

Pomni: H-huh?

Ragatha: Okay, wait! Maybe there's still time to fix him before we get Caine!

The Abstracted Kaufmo approaches Ragatha and gets out of his room, pinning her to the ground. While Ragatha is stuck, Pomni tries to escape.

Ragatha: Whoa! Kaufmo, Listen! I know we didn't always get along, like when you called me out for fake laughing at your jokes! I swear, I really did think they were funny, I was just having a bit of a bad daaaaAAAYYYYY!

The monster interrupted her by grabbing Ragatha before hitting her against the walls, floor, and ceiling multiple times. Pomni, who was looking at the sight in horror, looks to see Ragatha on the floor, crawling towards her. However, the poor doll was glitching severely and spoke with a pained tone.

Ragatha: Hey, Pomni? You think you could perhaps help me out here? I understand... if you don't... want to, though.

Pomni tries to help Ragatha, but her hand is now glitched, causing het to revoil in pain.

Pomni: I... I'm sorry!

The jester ran as fast as her little legs would let her while the hulking black beast with way too many eyes chased her down through the circus. Pomni didn't know where she was going, nor did she care. She just had to get out of the creature's sight. After turning a corner as she attempted to hide from the monster, Pomni bumped onto someone, knocking them both down. Much to her surprise, the person she bumped into was Ragatha.

Pomni: Ragatha?! Look, I- I shouldn't have run, but-

Suddenly, Kaufmo had caught up to them, pouncing as he turned the corner. Ragatha pushed Pomni backwards, and the beast grabbed the doll and began flailing her around as Pomni watched in horror. Once Kaufmo decided he was tired of the doll, he stopped his assault and turned to Pomni, who ran once again while Kaufmo gave chase.

As she made it to the main floor of the Tent and tried to hide or find Caine, she once again encountered Ragatha, who was glitching badly.

Ragatha: Pom-om-omn-ni-i?

The jester sprinted over to Ragatha, immediately grabbing the other's hands. Though the glitching on Pomni only got worse and burned much more than it originally did, she didn't care as she tried to reassure the doll.

Pomni: I... It'll be okay, Ragatha! Caine'll be here any minute, he'll fix you up!

However, Ragatha's body began to turn polygonal and black as a purple eye appeared over her button. Then a yellow one, then a green once.

Pomni: No! No no no no no! Stay with me! Ragatha, please, stay with me!

Ragatha: P-pom–omn-ni-i... I-It hur-ur-urts.

The lackness only seemed to consume Ragatha more. In her last bit of control, she pushed Pomni away as the black mass grew exponentially. Pomni looked up in horror and guilt, tears streaming down her face as in the sweet motherly doll's place was a massive stark black centipede covered in multcolored eyes, just like Kaufmo.
