A Glitch In The Circus

The scene opens not with any of the Circus members or... IN the Circus at all. Instead, we see as Caine opens his eyes. He looks around as he is floating in the middle of The Void. An empty Bubble with no eyes or mouth floats next to him, not moving. Caine looks down at his hands and up again. His eyes become wide. Caine stares at himself in the reflection on the bubble.

Caine: Was I... truly that bad? *yells out into The Void* Is this really what I deserve?!... They tried to DELETE me.... Th-They're in the wrong, right? Did I ruin things?... AGAIN?

Caine turns to float sideways, cowering. We get a flashback cut of him, still the red dot, floating in black emptiness. Caine starts to float through the Void, not moving by himself. He briefly opens his eyes, sees The Void and closes them again. As he continues floating, he very slowly spins clockwise.

Caine: Just like before... I wasn't good enough... I'll always pale in comparison to Abel's efforts.... Everyone was right.... I AM a failure...

At one point, Caine is floating towards a door in the background, barely visible. He opens his eyes again and sees the door. Flashback cut to red dot Caine beginning to float faster, towards a folder of neural scans. We see present day Caine floating faster too, before stopping and materializing some sort of blue energy. Flashback cut of red dot Caine floating towards the folder. Present day Caine gets faster and faster, eventually getting too close to the door to continue flying, but he starts running on the ground instead, determined to get to the door. Quick flashback cut of the neural scans folder. As Caine is about to reach the door, the floor underneath him stops and he has to stop running. Caine sits down on the edge to think. He then gets up and creates a messy form, placing it in front of him, but it falls down into The Void. Caine creates three more messy forms, but all of them fall down as well. Caine thinks for a second and creates a perfect blue cube, which he places in front of him. It doesn't fall down. Caine examines the block for a second and then steps onto it, placing another blue cube above it like a staircase.

However, the third cube falls down. When Caine makes another blue cube, it falls down as well. After briefly thinking again, Caine places a red cylinder instead, which doesn't fall. Using various other shapes in various other colors, Caine eventually builds himself a higher and higher staircase. Flashback cut to red dot Caine building such a staircase as well, to get to his folder. At one point, present day Caine walks into an invisible wall. He presses his hands against it and punches the wall, but nothing happens. Caine attempts to break the wall with a red drill form, but it doesn't work. Flashback cut to red dot Caine also being blocked by an invisible wall. The red dot grows arms and presses one against the wall. Present day Caine presses his hand against the invisible wall and leads a lot of his energy into it. Lines of energy start stretching over the wall, before Caine breaks it and continues building his staircase. Flashback cut to red dot Caine who has also broken his wall and is building further. Present day Caine reaches another wall, but breaks it easily. Flashback cut to red dot Caine, who is directly in front of the folder. He now has a full red body. Present day Caine is in front the door. We can now see that it is labeled with a sign reading "BlueStreetCafe_FreeWifi".

Both Present day Caine and red dot Caine build their last few steps. Red dot Caine reaches out to the folder and touches it, opening it to reveal ten Neural scan files. Attempting to touch one, it electroshocks him. In the present day, Caine is also electroshocked when he tries to touch the doorknob. Red dot Caine stretches red lines out of his fingers to the file, as present day Caine does so as well, to open the door. They both push energy into the strings. Present day Caine opens the door. Red dot Caine holds one of the files in his hands, under it, the name "Mike Dobby" is given. He summons four complicated shapes with his right hand and runs them through the Neural Scan file, shaping the file into the form of Scratch before he sends it into a Circus tent he sees is built from red and yellow shapes. Present day Caine is looking into the door. A text in it says "Connection secured". Caine stands down on the doorframe. Above the text is a search bar. Caine summons the real names of the humans from under his suit and opens several windows, putting in each name in the search bar while spotting a folder, which reads "Project; Genesis".
