Jax-Y Boy Is Falling Down

It was only a day since the whole "Escape The Circus adventure" fiasco and tensions were... admittedly high. All of the group sat in the lounge of the Tent, barely any of them speaking as either they looked to the checkered floor or did their own thing, Gangle trying to drown out her anxiety in her art and Ares looking over pieces of evidence with Rhodes.

But Jax... He doesn't lounge. No, instead, he stands near one of the support poles because that is where he stopped, shoulders loose but heavy, ears hanging lower than usual. His hands are shoved into his pockets, fingers flexing like they do not know what to do with themselves. For once, despite him being right... he isn't smiling.

Ragatha: ....I don't think I'd enjoy Shrimp Town much.

Zooble: ...*perks* What?

Ragatha: I-I'm just saying. Bubble said he made it take us to Shrimp Town and... Well, maybe that would be a good thing we didn't go there. Cus I actually have a shellfish allergy.

Zooble: I... That doesn't make any sense.

Pomni: I thought it was EATING shrimp that causes allergic reactions. Plus, it's not real shrimp. I... Ares? Ares, would Ragatha's shrimp allergy come with her to the Circus from her real body?

Ares: ...Huh?

Pomni: I asked if Ragatha would still be affected by her shrimp allergy despite us all being digital.

Jax: Hey, the red one was pushed already. It doesn't matter what we do, or if it was even real. We're stuck here. We're never getting out.

Ares: Dude, regardless, you KNEW what you were doing! You thought... you thought it was real. We all did. And you still chose it!

Pomni: Jax... Why DID you press the red button?

Jax: Oh, gee... *smirks* Maybe I just wasn't feeling heroic.

Gummigoo: Jax, you.... *sighs, shakes head* You really ARE something else, mate.

Jax: Hey, I saved you all from even worse disappointment, didn't I?

Pomni: Everyone, stop! This ISN'T the time for us to turn on each other.

Zooble: Wh- Are... You're DEFENDING HIM?! Are you kidding me?! He almost erased our ONE chance to get out of this place, whether it was fake or not doesn't matter!

Pomni: I'm not defending anyone! I'm just trying to stop us from devolving into savages!

Gangle: Zooble, please. We... Not like this...

Ares: Look, yelling at each other isn't gonna solve anything! If we're gonna get you guys home, we need to stay together and have each other's back. Especially how Caine can't be trusted.

Ragatha: So... Just keep doing the adventures?
