"CJ ang name ng author?" Pagkukumpirma ko habang binabasa ang story description nito.

It's about a story of a young boy in Barangay Guerrera who fell in love with someone from the city, a beautiful girl who's very kind and strong.

Habang binabasa ko ito, hindi ko maiwasang balikan ang alaala ko noon. I had lived in Barangay Guerrera too. If this is the same place, then who is this?

Parang katulad lang sa amin ito ah...

"Oo, taga Barangay Guerrera siya. Hindi ba tumira ka roon sa Talianes City? Taga doon daw iyan. Baka kilala mo?"

"I don't know... Wala naman akong maalala na writer doon."

Nagkibit balikat si Johnny habang nasa van kami at nakatutok sa phone. Ako naman ay kinakabahan dahil sa binabasa kong summary ng story.

From the moment he saw her in front of their gate, he knew from that moment that this girl must be his. Alam niya na agad na mapapaaway siya kapag naging girlfriend niya ito. Natuwa siya dahil nung sinagot siya nito, alam niya na siya na talaga ang pakakasalan niya.

Hirap akong lumunok. I don't know why but this story is really familiar to me. This isn't real life, am I right?

I was thinking deeply with that thought when my phone rang. It was lolo, probably angry with the statement I released the other day. He was in Singapore for several days and just got home this morning. Tapos ito ang bubungad sa kaniya.

Hindi ko ito sinagot. Hinayaan ko lang ito dahil ayaw ko siyang kausapin. My phone is on vibrate anyway, so it doesn't bother me that much.

Then my phone's screen lit up. It was his secretary who sent me a message.

"Okay, so! Since script reading ngayon, pupunta 'yong author sa venue. Gusto niya kayong lahat i-meet up."

Garret: Miss Cariel, your grandfather wants to talk to you. Please, allow me to know your availability.

I didn't text him back. Lolo called again but left him ignored. Johnny gave me a questioning look.

"You're going to ignore your grandfather?"

"Galit siya sa akin dahil sa ginawa kong statement noong nakaraang araw. I just ruined all of his plans."

Mahinang natawa si Johnny sa akin. "Mabuti nalang din at nagagawa mo ng tumayo sa sarili mo. You're father is really a controlling tycoon. Kaya kahit anong bida sa kaniya ng kapatid kong business major, hindi ako sumasang-ayon."

"That is why I need this project to prolong the situation. Kailangan kong makahanap ng paraan para talaga hindi ako tuluyang makasal sa Tyler Laurel na iyon. I asked him the day before I released the statement, told him that we shouldn't be doing all of this just to satisfy our grandparents' request, he said no.
