Yesterday, although he also stayed in the library until closing time, however, apart from downloading a large pile of literature, the work of choosing topic did not make any progress at all.

However, yesterday's accumulation had provided him with a lot of ideas, and today he was going to make a big effort to complete the work for choosing the topic and start writing the thesis.

This sounded like a simple task, but in fact, it was not that easy to do.

The maths paper was fine, but the nine computer papers were all cross-disciplinary, and he had read no less than thirty related publications, which he downloaded and finally finished at two o'clock in the night, and still barely understood them.

Even though he had read a C language textbook last time, many stuff that were too specialized and remained rather difficult for him.

"If the system could give him another library mission, it would be great ......", walking on the road to the library, Orion sighed and thought so.

Contrary to the way most people write their theses, for Orion, all challenges can be solved by system points, so the importance of proposing the right IDEA is much more important than the realization of the IDEA itself.

So, the crucial factor is the selection of the topic.

Orion's criterion is simple: choose the journal that has the highest acceptance rate!

It is worth mentioning that it is relatively easy to find a bumping journal in the field of information technology. Just as a "new solution to a proof " in maths can be published in a paper, a unique algorithm in IT can be published as well.

Not long ago, Musk, in an interview with the founder of Khan Academy, quipped that "90% of academic papers (in IT) are worthless" and "How many PhD papers have been used by anyone?", and was supported by nearly hundreds of Silicon Valley's tech elite.

Of course, there was plenty of criticism. The argument is indeed biased, but it does illustrate some of the concerns.

Internet information security and artificial neural networks are relatively normal, while big data and cloud concepts have become the hardest hit, which is a common problem in all "young academic disciplines".

For those reasons, Orion chose Artificial Intelligence (AI) as its main direction.

Of course, the scope of artificial intelligence is too broad, from video games to automatic inverter toothbrushes, if you want to say, this thing has long been integrated into every aspect of society.

Thinking about it, Orion tapped a line on the word document.

[The application of Artificial Intelligence in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)]

From mobile phone navigation to smart driving, from traffic management to automatic drone pathfinding. He chose the latter, which fits the emerging concept of "drone logistics".

Of course, the direction is still very broad, but it doesn't matter, he has to publish 9 papers!

So, he tapped his fingers on the keyboard and continued to write.

[A pixel points analysis algorithm based on artificial intelligence]

[An optimization algorithm for dynamic image recognition based on artificial intelligence]

[An AI-based algorithm for automatic measurement of human feature size]

[An automatic address recognition algorithm based on artificial intelligence algorithm]
