After a long wait, Orion finally received a letter back from Nature.
[Dear Professor Orion, we are amazed and excited by your research results, there is no doubt that this is a great invention, and your paper will be published in the next edition of Nature Chemistry ......]
Seeing this email, it was finally the day. When the paper was officially published, this reward task would be considered complete, right?
He was looking forward to how much experience he would eventually gain.
And it wasn't just a matter of experience, he thought that many people would be interested in his patent.
The afternoon he received the email, Orion drove his Ford Explorer SUV to the Philadelphia airport.
As he pulled up and walked to the entrance of the airport, he saw from a distance a little guy in a ducktail hat dragging a suitcase and looking around.
Recognising Trista instantly, Orion walked up and tapped her on the shoulder from behind.
"Hey."
"Ah!" Being suddenly tapped on the shoulder, Trista jumped like a frightened bunny.
Turning back to find it was Orion, she breathed a sigh of relief before giving her oldest brother a hard stare.
"You know, you almost scared your sweetest sister into a heart attack!"
It was just supposed to be a surprise for her, and it could be, the little one's ego was as good as ever.
Not sure if she'll be able to fit in well with campus life once she gets to college ......
After picking up Trista, Orion didn't make much of a stop at the airport entrance and directly led her to the car park. Just as he was about to introduce his car, Trista suddenly stretched her neck and looked around.
Orion casually asked, "What are you looking for?"
Not seeming to find what she was expecting to see, Trista pouted in boredom.
"Orion, why are you here alone to pick me up?"
Orion: "......?"
"Are we going straight to Princeton?"
"There's not much to do in Princeton, let's take you around Philadelphia." Starting the car, Orion didn't get on the road right away, but pulled out his phone and sent Isabel a message [are you free?].
"Eh ......", sitting in the back, Trista kicked her calves, "But I want to go to Princeton."
" There's nothing fun about that place."
"It's not just for fun either, daddy and mommy specially asked me before leaving," said Trista, coming up to the front row with a bad grin, "And also and also, have you found a pretty girlfriend, this has to be seriously checked. "
What? After all this time, it's a little spy sent over by his mother.
Orion laughed and shook his head, but his heart was warm.
Although he was in a foreign country, the thought that there were people thousands of miles away who cared about him made his heart much less lonely.
"I take good care of myself, as for my girlfriend ...... let them not have to worry."
Trista cocked her little nose in triumph: "Hmph, what you say doesn't matter, I'm the prosecutor."
