"......" Orion didn't answer.
"I understand," David smiled, "Just like those of us in research, there are always one or two within a research team who just think about muddling through all day, and those people can never be cleaned up.", "I've seen plenty of them."
He said in a serious tone, "You have to be clear that getting the national first prize is our only goal. It may seem a little unfair to those who can do more, but it's actually an exercise."
Orion nodded, "Alright then, I know, I can do both the mathematical modelling and thesis, but I have a request."
"Please", David smiled.
"I'd like to reduce the number of these centralized training sessions, instead I'd like to train on my own, and then have a centralized training session before the exams," after a moment's pause, Orion continued, "I'll also be able to be relatively flexible with the training schedule." Training together was too much of a waste of time. Orion still liked it to go at his own pace.
"No problem, I was going to schedule it that way." David said with a smile.
The two returned to the classroom.
......
Finally, the paper was written by Orion. With the experience of writing an SCI paper, as well as his private preparations for completing the system's task, in terms of writing the paper, not to mention Mia, even Ethan, who was one year older than him, couldn't beat him.
Of course, today was just a training session, so there was no need to fine-tune the paper according to the standard of the competition.
According to the Mathematical Modelling Thesis Format, Orion chose "Model Assumptions" and "Problem Analysis" as the key parts to write out. As for the less important parts, after writing the title, he omitted the specific content.
Looking at the completed paper, Mia repeatedly expressed her thanks to Orion, and pathetically said that she was really sorry for screwing everyone today, and that she would definitely try to catch up with everyone's footsteps when she went back. ......
Orion smiled on his face and didn't say anything.
After the dismissal, Orion politely refused Mia's invitation to dinner.
Putting his computer bag on his back, he went to the library as he always did, and started to catch up on his thesis.
Isabel was sitting in the seat next to him, and apart from occasionally asking him a question or two, she spent most of her time working on exercises. Although she was curious as to why he was writing a paper on computer science when he was clearly a maths major, she didn't ask too much.
Leaning back in his chair and moving his arms, the mobile phone sitting on the table suddenly whined and quaked.
Orion picked it up and saw that it was a call from Fatty Woo.
"Hey, what's up?"
"Me, ocean woo, are you free this week?"
A bright voice came from the other end of the phone, it was obvious that his part-time job was short of hard labor again.
Already in his third year of college, but this guy is not at all in a hurry to prepare for a graduate study, nor is he busy looking for a job, he is busy making money outside all day long, and almost can't be seen in the school by others. If it wasn't for the fact that he had a student ID, Orion would have to wonder if he was from Gordon university or not.
