After the seminar ended, Orion also left the venue along with the crowd.
However, just as he was about to walk towards the experimental building, someone suddenly called out to him from behind.
"Professor Orion, long time no see."
Turning back, Professor Roger was walking towards himself with a smile on his face.
Thinking that he had just poached two great talents from the old gentleman some time ago, Orion was a little embarrassed for a moment and smiled in greeting.
"It's been a long time, how are you doing?"
"Everything else is fine, it's just that this heart isn't very good," looking at Orion, Professor Roger, although he was smiling, his tone was still quite a bit resentful, "It's not easy to teach two students, and all of them ran to you all of a sudden."
"This ......" Orion said with a dry cough, "The old ones don't go away, and the new ones don't come, you'll surely find someone better-- "
Professor Roger shook his head, "Alright, I'm not here to blame you, I'm kind of relieved that they can have a good place to go. Although it's a bit of a pity that they didn't pursue a PhD, the things they can learn from you are as much as what they can learn from me."
No one could say that the students they taught would have to work for them after they graduated, even if he did have the idea of absorbing them into Imerys to do research.
Following Orion was clearly a better prospect, and any young man who was going to have a career in the field would make a similar choice if the salary wasn't bad. Roger is supportive of both students' choices, even if he's not happy about them.
His research team, as yet was not to be affected in any way by the loss of two Masters.
After a moment's pause, the old man looked at Orion and asked seriously, "To be honest, the process you proved in the seminar, I didn't understand too much from what I saw. About the conclusion of that hollow carbon sphere, are you serious?"
Orion nodded, "I don't have to talk nonsense about such things."
In carbon sulfur composite materials, hollow carbon spheres were considered a relatively novel idea that possessed a lot of room for development.
And thanks to the breakthroughs in carbon nanotechnology, the prices of materials similar to carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, and graphene were falling every year, and there was a realistic basis for applying them to industrial production.
After staring at Orion for a while, Professor Roger suddenly smiled and shook his head, "......The eyes of that old guy Benno are still sharp, it seems that he is right, your kid does have a well thought out plan."
Orion smiled apologetically and said modestly, "I'm exaggerating, I'm only 30% sure."
After all, his speculations on the hollow carbon sphere were all based on inferences made with common sense, and although he could prove the feasibility of this using mathematical methods, it was still hard to say whether he could find this kind of material or not.
" 30% certainty is already very high, usually our experiments are going to bet on less than 10% possibility." After sighing with emotion, Professor Roger looked at Orion, and continued, "Then I look forward to your good news."
Orion asked, "Won't your research team be involved?"
Professor Roger shook his head and said with a smile, "You're already in, why should I get involved? I'll just wait and read your paper."
