Plugging the USB stick into the computer, not to Orion's surprise, the massive stream of data quickly rushed into the computer's hard drive at a speed that exceeded the laptop's read/write limit.

With the built-in fan whining and the motherboard's location hot to the touch, Orion waited calmly for five minutes or so, listening to the gradually subsiding fan sound, judging that the thing should be finished.

Just as he expected, the USB stick that had completed its mission turned into black dust and disappeared.

Looking at the empty USB port, Orion was ready to click on the drive to see what the scanning gun had actually scanned, but as soon as his hand touched the mouse, a series of dialogue boxes popped up from the lower right corner of the desktop.

  [Master! QAQ]

[Are you going to kill Cara? QAQ]

Looking at the dialogue boxes that popped up in the screen, Orion froze, typed and asked: [What's wrong with you ......?]

Cara: [Look at the hard drive space! QAQ]

There was no need to wait for Orion to touch the mouse, Cara had already taken over for him as she finished her sentence, showing the bar of disk space that had turned red, in front of him.

Taking a look towards that remaining space number, Orion was instantly shocked. "Crap? With 2TB of disc space, there was only 50.1MB left! The amount of data collected by this scanning gun, was it this huge?"

Suddenly, realising a more serious matter, Orion hurriedly typed and asked: [Wait, where are my other two disks?]

Cara: [In order to save my life, I merged all the space from the D and E discs into the C disc! QAQ]

Orion continues to type rapidly and asks: [What about the information I have on my hard drive?]

Cara: [I compressed it for you and moved it to the C drive! QAQ]

  Well done ......

Those materials were all the literature he had collected, and some unpublished research results on the Polignac Conjecture. If those materials were damaged, it would be a bit of a big loss.

But if he had to choose between the collected materials and Cara, he would still choose the latter.

Although the latter was a bit retarded right now and was always giving him trouble, he was sure that one day it would grow up and become a good assistant to him.

Orion thought about it and typed: [...... I know, I'll help you get a new home as soon as possible. By the way, can you not add a QAQ after a sentence in the future, it looks weird].

Cara: [But master, my collection of galleries was destroyed, I can't find any other emoticons! QAQ]

  Orion: "......"

When he thought of all the valuable information that he had was almost eliminated because of those crappy emojis, although there was some sympathy in his heart, he was really furious.

Rudely closing the dialogue box, Orion found those precious data of his, backed them up to a removable hard drive, and then opened those data collected by the scanning gun.

Originally, he thought that it would take him quite some time to sort out the data, but he didn't realise that the convenience of technology had already solved the problem for him.

The file opened, and an application interface, like a drawing tool, appeared on his screen. Suspended in a three-dimensional grid of cubes was a broken battery. It didn't seem like much at first glance, just a three-dimensional model.
