  Princeton University, Library.

Slumped over his desk, Hardy pressed his brow and yelled in a pained whisper.

"This is a task that is simply impossible ...... Is there really a human being who can manage all of this in a month and a half?"

In front of him, there were six reference books, including the 'Introduction to Number Theory', which was an 'introductory level', and the 'Lecture Notes on Number Theory', which went from the shallow to the deep. Not just stuff on number theory, but also stuff on 'Generalised Functional Analysis', 'Algebraic Geometry', 'Differential Topology' and so on.

Even though Hardy had done a lot of pre-study before coming here, considering this tutor's name, he didn't expect such a massive amount of study tasks to be waiting for him just as soon as he stepped through the door.

Franklin, who was sitting opposite Hardy, was much more calm, at least he didn't think about such irrelevant questions as "can I finish it", and was seriously studying the Lecture Notes on Number Theory in his hand along with the printed documents. Although he could not turn the pages of the book as fast as Hardy, he was persistent. From the beginning until now, it hardly ever stopped.

Sighing, Hardy gave up completely and asked.

"Franklin, are all Princeton professors this terrible?"

  " Terrible?"

Hardy nodded seriously, "Yes. When I was in Brazil, I was always number one in maths in our high school, and everyone thought I was a genius. When I got to Columbia, I saw quite a few people who were more talented than me, but the stuff within the course was still easy for me to do, even without taking any special time."

Speaking of this, Hardy sighed in frustration, "Yet by the time I got here, I was even beginning to doubt life ......"

Franklin didn't know how to comfort this young man, pushed up his glasses, smiled shyly and said, "Maybe because this is Princeton?"

To be honest, the professors at University of Lyon weren't this strict.

"There's absolutely no way a professor at Princeton would be this strict, I asked the seniors I played football with yesterday, and Professor Orion is definitely an exception." Hardy shook his head, paused for a moment, suddenly thought of something, and asked with a serious face, "I noticed that you've already started reading the second book, do you have any tips? Or have you studied them before?"

"No," Franklin shook his head, "I'm new to this stuff too."

At most, like him, he'd done similar prep before arriving.

Hardy said in an incredulous tone, "That's impossible! Wait, you wouldn't still be reading when you got back to your dorm room, right, God ...... how much time do you actually spend on studying in a day?"

Franklin thought for a moment and replied, "Besides eating and sleeping?"

  Hardy: "......"

The conversation can't seem to get going ......

  ......

Getting through six books in a month and a half does present a great deal of difficulty, and Orion was actually aware of this when he set this task.

Therefore, when he made the training plan for his students, he set the expected results not too high as well. Namely, as long as they were able to digest half of the knowledge points in it, they could be considered to have passed.
