With over half million dollars for servers, Orion definitely wouldn't want to buy them online. He would need a professional to install it when he bought it back. Fortunately, Professor Roger gave him a phone number, saying that many professors in the school look for this computer shop to purchase equipment, which is a solution to this problem.
The next day, Orion found this computer shop near the school.
Looking at the configuration list Orion handed over, the owner of the computer shop rubbed the scruff on his chin and asked, "Who wrote this configuration list for you?"
This boss was about 30 years old, wearing a pair of square-framed glasses, and by looking at his face, he could guess that he mostly used to be a software coder.
To this irrelevant question, Orion casually replied, "A friend."
"If you're planning on mining, I'd recommend getting a few more graphics cards."
Orion: ......? "What the hell is a miner?"
Orion coughed lightly and said, "I'm not using this computer for mining."
" Why did you make the configuration so high-end if you don't mine?" He looked at Orion with surprise, "You wouldn't use it to play League of Legends?"
Orion: "......"
The whole machine, a total of five hundred and eighteen thousand, is slightly higher than online price, but not that much.
Seeing the text message from the bank, Orion didn't realise at all that he turned out to be so rich. However, this kind of richness soon became a thing of the past.
Looking at the string of numbers that disappeared from his bank card, Orion had a faint moment of sadness. Especially when he thought of the fact that he hadn't even settled on his own house yet, but he had given Cara a home first.
Looking at the transfer SMS in his mobile phone, Orion silently prayed in his heart. "Cara, the server has also been upgraded, again so retarded... ..."
Orion asked, "About how long do I have to wait?"
"A week at the latest, leave me an address and I'll have the shop staff go over directly to help you set it up then."
Orion: "I'll give you the address in a couple of days and call you then."
......
Getting this server was more trouble than Orion thought it would be.
He spent the next week working on it.
First of all, the server could not be placed in the dormitory, the power consumption of that thing was not comparable to an air conditioner. Moreover, Orion didn't feel comfortable putting something so valuable in his dorm room.
A long time ago, he heard someone say that there was an unlucky kid in the Software School who specially equipped his dorm room with an incredible desktop in order to play games. As a result, after a summer holiday, he found that the computer could not be turned on. In the end, he found that except for the motherboard, the cpu, graphics card, memory sticks, and even the fan and power supply were all gone.
After thinking about it for a long time, Orion finally chose to rent a house near his school and put the server there for the time being.
Originally, he planned to wait for the patent documents to come down, get the first bucket of money through patent licensing, and then build a lab next to the school and put the server in it.
